You're far too subtle for me, I do apologise.

I must have some American in me. That would also explain the excess lbs around the midriff.

Re: Blaydon Hell!

It must of been really exciting watching all those tries...thats what the game is all about..scoring tries........ :smt040 I disagree. It would have been humiliating for losing fans and very quickly becoming boring for the winning fans, many of whom would feel a guilty sympathy for the opposition. ...

Or indeed, balti pies?
I don't know but as Tigers and rugby had been left far behind I felt able to join in.

If it was, a singular typo would have to be spelt typo'.
Well, it would make typo' correct, although if typo came to be accepted as a word in its own right, that would be correct as well. Perhaps "have to be" is a little bit strong.

Re: Food prices at Welford Road?

I may be reading this wrong but please explain. The plural of typo is typos, not typo's. The insertion of an apostrophe indicates either possession (e.g. Bill's pen) or contraction (e.g. isn't for is not). The insertion of an apostrophe does not indicate a plural (e.g. the plural of cat is cats, no...

Re: I've been on Countdown

Good for you Kinoulton. Assuming you get a specific date in advance of the airing please let us know. Although I quite like the format I'm not a regular watcher as I don't enjoy watching Richard Whiteley - I know he's gone, the time it goes out is probably awkward as well.

Re: Deano Banned From Coaching For 3 Years

In my opinion: I might attempt to explain to them: Spear tackle someone without the ball - you will not get cited: inadequate Gauge someones eyes - expect a six to eight week ban: inadequate Admit using recreational drugs - expect an 8 month ban: about right Refuse to take a drugs test - nine month ...

I could do with losing some weight and reckon I could do it quite easily if I gave up beer, bread and potatoes. Unfortunately I like beer, bread and potatoes.

Re: Saracens v Northampton at Wembley!!!

Good luck to Saracens and fingers crossed for a big crowd for them.

I've asked if they are thinking of something similar for their New Year's Day match.

Last years Christmas trip out was great (apart from the collapse in the last 10 minutes), couldn't this be similar?

Re: A quiz question. (For which you'll kill me.)

I thought that I was being really smart by putting it into Google to see if it came up with an answer but it just came up with a link to this topic. Please will you tell us I haven't got a clue! :smt009 Come on Ben, several of the apparently inane posts above are clues. Take a chance on your answer...
