Re: Sir Kev - Desert Island Discs

What an excellent interview and talking from his heart about his life and his exploits.. Not sure I could bear all the musical choices but a treadmill sums it all up! Link this to the BBC2 programme on Rob Burrow and his amazing support Then you can fully understand Sir Kevin's commitment and hopefu...

Re: Leicester Tigers' social media is poor

Is it me, or has Bondi disappeared? Bondi was at the game today And it was his birthday too! Alas Gary and Bondi only have one pair of hands and there is so much to organise on match days, so I suppose they must concentrate on selected forms of communications. But I hope they change the microphone ...

Re: Parking at Exeter

If you are staying in the centre of Exeter then forget driving to the ground either the short train ride or better still last season there were Exeter Chiefs double decker buses from the GWR station to Sandy Park car park with two or three pick ups in the city - bus station being one. So look on th...

Re: Aus v England - 09th July 2022 - Team to save Eddies job!

Iam still not sure if Farrell is the best in the centre, nor do I feel playing Smith & Farrell will encourage the ball to go along the line with two kickers. I hope Porter gets the ball a few times. My biggest concern is the terrible officials in the less than dynamic duo of Referee Andrew Brace...

Re: Country Road adopted lyrics

It started in Clermont when their band started up, Pithhead, dont know his real name, took this up adapted it to Leicester Tigers, at the end after we had won, all the Tigers team came over to our corner of the ground and all of them joined in with our singing, they loved our support. For those who...

Great work as always RB. Is there merit in giving Bondi a mention in your OP? The bloke seems an all round good egg! Bondi is great but the biggest contributor must be Gary Sherrard and he wins special mention in Planet Rugby. -Best Media Team: Leicester Tigers Quote "Slick, honest and punctua...

There is only one real Rugby Club in Coventry and they were at Coundon Road and that's Coventry RFC long may it continue to grow and oust the insects back to London where they might cuckoo a football club for a ground again. :smt013

I completely agree. Although I was surprised to see Simmons being re-signed, I am happy with it. I always rated him, especially as a scrum half, and was upset when he got injured "in his prime" :smt003 I hope he develops as well as I thought he would. He is a versatile player in the Austi...
