Re: Mulipola

Having said that it was a great debut for Mulipola and I hope to see more of the big man this season. I think he's likely to be a loosehead option competing for the shirt with Marcos. Not with Castro broken. We have Marcos and Boris available at loose head, so Mulipola will be back-up for Dan Cole,

Re: Tigers Falcons today

Smith seems to get a lot of unfair criticism on here IMHO. He may have gone wide on occasions but he was the only player to put pace on the game, was always looking for the ball and looked the most likely player to break the line. As for the Julian White incident, I certainly did not see him throw a...

Re: Crisis?

It is not a crisis. The situation is exactly what the majority of clubs in Premier Rugby want, Tigers being brought back to the standard of the rest. That is the whole point of the wage cap. The problem is we supporters have been used to better and don't like it. :smt009 Fortunately, I believe the b...

Re: England Team for Scotland

Doubt we are going to see a thrilling game of rugby with that line up. My biggest worry is how well Youngs will cope in a backline were he is going to have to create pretty much everything, if Scotland close him and Foden down early on then we will be in for a very low scoring game. We need Manu an...

Re: Squad changes

Okay, we were steamrollered by Ulster but do we have to play the blame game? Everyone is taking turns to pick who was at fault, whereas we were a tired side against a fresh team on the top of their game. The same players at the start of the season, on a neutral ground and there would be little to ch...

NB not Tigers.
Would having owners and players based in SA be considered a loophole?

Re: Tigers v Ulster - Friday 13th

I think a lot of us saw the defeat coming but not the scale of it, which was a real shock to fans bred on success. We have been up against it all season, what with the world cup call-ups and all the injuries. As others have said, week after week Tigers have had "must win" games, just to re...

Re: Our lineouts yesterday

Agreed that Hawkins has improved a lot and has made a real impact lately but there is no need to denigrate George, who IMO never lets us down.
