Re: AWC final
Tigerbeat Salvis fingertips knocked the ball forward on to Thackers knee.....correct call.....knock on. IMO Salvi's fingertips never broke contact with the ball before Thacker's knee hit the ball, it never even went forward off Salvi's fingertips but merely a ball spin, it was pretty obvious really...

Re: England vs Italy
Italy did not play to win the game, they came to spoil the game and this they achieved. In the process Italy dumped what we call the "spirit of rugby" and in the long term did themselves no favours. If this is how they want to play, let them play against Georgia and then hopefully we will...

Re: A ruck, or not a ruck?
Rip 'em apart England, send Lawes into a few rib cages, after all that's legal too. I did question why Danny Care didn't give it to one of the Italian players standing on the England side with Lawes steaming at pace at the unguarded kidney/lumbar region. Coming from the blindside like that a couple...

Re: Clear out the coaching staff en bloc and start anew
I just can't see what AM is bringing to the club....no game plan, no attack, no skills....I'm not one to call for heads but I think he has to go.

Re: Bath blocks Ford exit
No expert but unless GF's contract explicitly mentions a block on him joining Tigers there is nowt Bath can do....even if there was, it's unlikely it's enforceable.

Re: The search for an 8 continues
He reminds me of a player we used to have, started out well but then every time he came on the pitch conceded penalty after penalty..Roly wrote:The No8 at Chiefs is pretty handy, suits a driving maul too as I recall.
Mind you, a DoR would have to be insane to let a player like that go.

Re: The Local Derby v Saints!
Firstly a man jumping in the air is putting himself in danger. Secondly it is often very difficult to get out of the way. Thirdly we are now encouraging people to jump for no reason.. Saturdays example showed north jumping for a ball there was no need to jump for. In my mind he did it to red card a...

Re: The Local Derby v Saints!
It's a tough one, discussion with Saints fans near us and the consensus was that North was lucky not to be penalised as he jumped into a stationary Thompstone, (Not watched the play back yet mind)

Re: Law interpretation
Could someone who was watching on telly or watched the replay confirm for me what happened with Bath's disallowed try in the Crumbie/Clubhouse corner? It went to a TMO - we felt it should have been a penalty to us because the Bath winger jumped the tackle. Was that ever part of the consideration or...
