Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
Believe that Sam Harrison re-signed a new contract during this season. If he has it's not been an official announcement by the club. Unless you mean last season? Getting rid of Shazam would be absolutely stupid. It'd leave us with only 3 scrum halves in the Senior and development squads. Ben Youngs...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
Woodward really would have been the perfect signing, shame Gloucester nabbed him. Could have filled in at 10/15/13.
I hope we can get a centre (Hurrell maybe?) that's EPQ.

Re: Parking at the Wasps Nest.
OK - I missed that (can't remember exactly when I got to the station but as far as I recall it was not much more than 90 mins....catching up with Wasps friends). Station was busy....but manageable. Then again, I spend a lot of time on rush hour trains, so maybe it goes over my head! I think the inc...

Re: Parking at the Wasps Nest.
To the bloke getting the trains: warning, it is absolutely awful getting to Coventry Arena on the trains, particularly post game. Even the train an hour and a half before the game was stuffed to the gills, with people getting in with the driver! The Tigers game at the Ricoh in January ended up with ...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
I think that Cohen statement is being massively over interpreted. All of our "all but confirmed" signings are currently still in competition. Kalafamoni for Gloucester, Holmes and J.Ford in the Championship play-offs. I highly doubt we are making any signings from the Premiership or Top14 ...

Re: Team v Wuss??
Typical of the constant moaning by some. For crying out loud we finished 7 points clear of Bath after what is a poor season for us. We have made the play-offs for 13th (I think) seasons running, yet we get people moaning after an away victory. Just like the Tom Youngs and JPP threads some people ju...

Yes that is what was reported by Premiership Rugby on Twitter.
The Ricoh is an absolute joke when it nears capacity.

Re: Weekly question - Saturday team v Sale?
Not particularly surprised at absence on Mermoz given that he's been in Florida for much of the last 2 weeks.
I hope TV isn't injured, and I'm assuming that both Locky and Cilliers are.

Re: MOC in The Mercury
All bar the Exeter games we looked at some point capable of winning. 20-30 minute lapses were what cost us and are the difference between us and the top 3.

Re: Ellis Genge re-signs!
They've "only just" confirmed it because the club have only just made their official announcement. Yes, MOC did say at the Falcons game, but was still not an official club announcement.

Tempest is completely killing this game letting Falcons get away with murder at the breakdown, and not letting anything slightly marginal slide.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
I don't think he's put a foot wrong when I've seen him play. His playstyle is quite self-less, more making the space for others than capitalising himself, this can make some very good players go unnoticed unless you pay attention.

Re: So now we know.........
You're comparing their two marquee players to a squad player.
A better comparison would be with Toomua, Tuilagi, JPP, and Mermoz.
