Don't accuse me of rambling.

I'm well known for not taking such exorbitant levels of exercise.

Re: C'Mon TIGERS SORT IT OUT

I give up. You’re right. It’s a license to print money that the club and provider (Lindleys?) are not taking advantage of because they are dedicated to the provision of poor customer service and minimisation of profit. That’s why they live in cardboard boxes, drive rustboxes, go to pontins for their...

.
Whereas in the pubs and fast food outlets outside the ground the staff work for free?
The bars outside the ground will be open anyway for regular trade, passing trade andTigers will be a bonus. The are probably open every night of the week, not just A league mondays. The bars in th...

Re: C'Mon TIGERS SORT IT OUT

I am suggesting that the club realise that A team games are not well enough supported to justify over-staffing the stadium & wasting money on unneccessary staffing levels. . And I am sure that the pubs and fast food outlets close to Welford Road are very grateful even if those supporters who qu...

Re: C'Mon TIGERS SORT IT OUT

As far as I can recall, the A league/development games have only ever had the Crumbie open. Certainly at every one I've attended. We used to sit in the old Next Stand. One of the first A league matches we went to had a crowd of 12,000+ There was a pizza and kebab shop nearby that did very good pizz...

Re: Curmudgeoness Abounds. Christmas Edition.

Well in the spirit of festive cheer I'm pleased to report that I'm ready for Christmas.

In fact I've already put the weight on.

What is Christmas shopping anyway?

Re: The peril of being male.

It's sometimes seems close to this with the M&J sections at rugby (and other sports) clubs. Even RSPCC and ACPO say it's gone mad.

I think either he or his little brother has played for england at age group level :smt017 I think you'll find he hasn't got a little brother. Just six older ones. With six of the seven currently or formerly on Tigers' books. There are a few nephews about but I'm not aware of any yet old enough for ...

Re: British Airways

We use Ryanair for Birmingham – Biarritz as nobody else does anything nearly as convenient. We don’t pay the extras and if Ryanair can’t sit me by my kids I regard that as their fault, my benefit and somebody else’s inconvenience. Also, last time (August), despite getting on after the people who pai...

Van Persie: "Patrice Evra gave me a little push, a really little one, but it threw me off balance. I just fell down and the whole stadium started to boo me. I was like ‘Come on, can’t you see he pushed me’"

I thought it was supposed to be a contact sport.
