Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45

Something is seriously wrong at Tigers currently. No “I’m frustrated”, there is no plan, poor skills and plain stupidity in execution. Two years ago giving the ball away worked now you need to do something with it. Matt Smith is not doing a great job as stand in attack coach. We should not expect hi...

Would we be any better if it was grass? Our scrum seems to be very poor on carpet. Do we understand the studs needed to scrummage on it?

Wells needed to be more obvious with release though.

Need to get more weight back in the scrum and let them score out wide and chance the kick!

Why depower the scrum by taking off a forward? We now do not have any backs to defend anyway! We now know why the young props are not getting played.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Rugby evolves and it appears to be moving to a more attacking game or mix with a good atrack beating the power and set piece only game. Tigers are evolving bit I am not sure enough or quite in the direction other teams are. DMc needs to evolve his game from where Australia or the Bumbies were too. W...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

I thought once England went ahead France may panic but they didn't and England started to revert to kicking it away. Contesting but tapping back rather than catching going forward meant Aldritt got more of the tap backs than England did. Some nice strike play tries from England and some opportunist ...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm

Why on earth haven’t we tried to play any rugby till it’s too late Because the analysts suggest you can win a rugby game without playing any rugby. On average that may be true but not against a motivated team. Bedford and then tonights passivity suggested DMc needs to learn a bit quicker or maybe w...

The plan not to get a replacement big 8 is not looking a good one. Personnel starting tonight certainly are not the answer.

The decision to do nothing with the ball we had in the first half means we were susceptible to the pressure and yellow cards. May be we needed some hard friendly famed rather than 2x 10 days holiday.
