Re: Oh when the Saints............

Nice to see Ashton taking his try like a grownup yesterday. I thought he did well in showing no pleasure in it when they were so far behind.

Re: We have to keep Agulla

Couldn't remember what Aguja meant. Agulla is the Catalan equivalent of the Spanish)

Just checked.

It means a slim sharp pointy thing; a needle or a hatpin.

Seems appropriate for a small and exceedingly sharp wing.

Re: Wot? No thread on tonight's match?

Dulllest massive victory since Glasgow in the European Cup.

Still we perked up a bit once we were 30 points ahead.

Re: Cheerleaders

My girls wanted to be cheerleaders, and did so for a while.

In the end they took my view, and earned the cheering rather than providing it.

Re: Project Welford Questionairre

Many happy years have been spent in the Crumbie. My daughters birth (v Sale) and several birthdays have been spent there, as well as many other weekends remarkable only for the Rugby, too. I buy Selenium tablets and sometimes Ginger beer from Holland & Barrett. I watch Rugby from the lower terra...

Re: a powerful shirt

While in general terms agreeing with Kinoulton I must add that 'wearing grey, yellow, purple" is exactly what Harlequins should be doing. But only all at once. :smt001

personally I enjoy wearing my shirt in Bath the most.

Re: Project Welford Questionairre

I had to give up because it doesn't list the Crumbie stand, and won't let you go past thst point without answering that question.

Even better when

Steam rises from the bodies to mingle with the blown rain. It brings to my mind the wonderful paintings of JMW Turner.

Instead of that strange, and rather French, marching and shouting thing we should invite both sets of people down for a Morris Dance match at half time.

Best dancers prove their Englishness in this traditional way.

Should be an above average spectacle.

Re: The Green green Grass of Glawster

Both Adam Balding and Brett Deacon left tigers for Gloucester and improved their careers, if you consider captaining a club an improvement over warming the bench at another.
