Elvis Presley, Tiger Man.

It's young Elvis, not burger boy, and it's proud and fast. We ought to play it.

Re: Tigers Win Against Maori All Blacks

Tait had a good game, solid under the high ball, made good breaks, linked well and did well in the tackle . very promising debutant.

Re: A quick question on rugby!!

A horrid game at our place against Northampton, fifteen (ish) years ago, evening kick off. They made a very short throw to the front of the lineout, flicked it down to Dawson(?) who skipped down the line and scored. Then we let them do the same thing again ten minutes later. Apologies for the imprec...

Slater.

Similar to the Deacons, younger and therefore with more potential, and prepared to act as enforcer.

Re: Vote of no confidence in the Board,

Even Rolls Royces need oil changes. They don't break down readily, but slowly their performance degrades, and carries on doing so until they are serviced. The initial signs of this decay are subtle and peripheral.

Oh hang on. I think I'm on the wrong

Re: The entertainment at Le Stadium

Sounds almost perfect.

and explains why we don't want the world cup in soccer grounds. Our game is sufficiently interesting to not need distractions around it. I fear the WC will be spoiled by the very nonsense the French avoided.

Re: Premiership Awards

If it's named after the landrover discovery shouldn't it go to a player who breaks down a lot and needs expensive repairs? Lewis Moody would be a cruel call, and of course he's not 'owned' outside the UK.

Any better nominations?

Re: Opinions on the new kit after seeing it in action?

Not impressed. The stomach section reminded of the old fashioned girdles that women wore in my childhood. With finger tip control. Still like the pattern; would enjoy it as an all over thing. The attempt to mute it with areas of green compromise it; the Aviva badge looks terrible. An after thought a...

Re: Bleeding the fans dry!

Probably won't go. Reasons mixed; price one of them, dislike of the league cup another and really not actually wanting to watch Saracens another; it looks to be a dull old game lacking in the thrilling qualities a summer game ought have. Still good to finish the league a very close second, rising fr...

Re: What appended to ar 'Arry?

Harry is shrewd operator.

Last time an offer was in the offing he had himself arrested.

This time he arranged for the Spurs form to collapse.

Very shrewd. Who would want to manage England soccer, but who could be seen to say no?

I'm calling for a personal exclusion zone of eighty miles around the capital for the duration.

If the Rugby 7 were on I'd probably break it.

Re: Attending the Bath game on crutches

Daughter #2 was on crutches last season. (Rugby injury too) I called the club, because we normally stand. They allocated us seats for the match, in the clubhouse stand, end of the row. Decent people. It was the 41-41 game. We missed the informed comments of our usually neighbours, but were bloomin' ...

Re: Great wins. Now let's be sensible!

The way to keep sensible is to remember the Ulster game. I'm quite intrigued by how often the Exeter game is quoted here as the turning point of the season. We were humiliated in Ulster, and want to forget it. Let's not. It was a slap of awakening probably second only to the loss to Brive in the ear...
