Correct! And long may this continue.

God imagine the look on his grumpy little boat if THAT happens.

Re: Eddie Jones appointed Head Coach for Australia!

Wait. Are people SERIOUSLY making the suggestion that Eddie Jones was trying to disrupt England during his tenure? That he was some species of double agent, working from the inside to harm English rugby and his rapid recruitment in Oz somehow proves this? I mean, I've been high. I've been reaaaaaaal...

Re: Eddie Jones appointed Head Coach for Australia!

I am an England rugby fan through and through, and as a Leicester Tigers fan I hope Steve Borthwick's (formerly of this parish) team wins every thing ahead of it.

A little, evil, bit of me does, however, think Eddie Jones at the helm of Australia winning lots would be funny.

Re: Tigers post Borthwick

Seems the wheel has turned and we are now set to lose at least Borthwick our Head Coach who brought Tigers back from the Abyss to once again be premiership champions. What does the future now look like for Tigers post Borthwick and what must the club do to avoid returning to the dark days? Not empl...

Add Toulon to that list as well.
True, but I don't remember if he revolutionised Toulon.

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)

I'm surprised how angry this whole fiasco has made me given my general apathy for England rugby since the last WC final, why keep backing Eddie until this close to a WC and then sack him? Its just so spineless. Say what you like about Eddie but he's statistically the best coach England have had and...

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)

I’m surprised Cockerills name hasn’t been thrown into the mix as he is already in the England set up and has proved himself by winning both Premiership and European titles. He would be a good Caretaker until the World Cup surely. I'd go for this, of only for the hilarity that would ensue from the S...

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)

I think that what we can all agree is that SB leaving for England at the end of this season has pretty much been on the cards since day one. He has been developed to take on that role and it would have been naive to think we would hold on to him once EJ left. I still think that SB will be gone befo...

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)

I have nothing but the greatest respect for Steve Borthwick, my ignorant outsider opinion is that this is too early for him. Not because he can't do it, but because he has things to finish here at Tigers. Rob Baxter was spoken about for the England job after years of making something from Exeter, Bo...

Re: England Squad - Autumn Internationals

I was very disappointed with the result, IMO an England loss not an Argentina win. I watched the match live and have rewatched it once. Now I will not claim to be the analyst many on here are but to me it seemed like a "1-2%" game. England were just 1-2% off, almost across the park. Genuin...

Re: Wasps still in the mire

Forgive my ignorance of Tigers' finances, and I know Wasps have long had their troubles, but when I see Prem clubs like Worcester (from my understanding largely mismanagement + some misfortune) and Wasps (misfortune + some mismanagement) going to the wall I fear for Tigers, and by extension, the gam...
