Re: Jordan Taufua

He definitely seem to be struggling after he took an accidental knock after making a tackle right on halftime, and he was then replaced at halftime, but there may have been an element of precaution to it as I believe he failed a HIA either last week or the week before.

Newcastle or Worcester

After last night it looks like relegation will likely between Newcastle and Worcester, I personally think it will be Worcester who end up going down as I not sure they’ll pick up any more points as where I think Newcastle may pick at least a few losing bonus points. And what players do people think ...

Re: Toomua

Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s worrying about not making the World Cup squad with his form, Copper is the form Australian 10 currently, and both Kerevi and Kuridrani back and up there in the carries and line break stats, along with Foley, Beale and Hayley-petty. He could struggle he’ll only have half...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2018-19

Ryan Olowofela has signed for saints next season, I thought he was quite highly regarded in the England 7s circuit, but it will certainly add a new dimension to the darby, If the both play. Does anyone know if there has ever been bothers on opposite side for it before.

Re: Worcester vs Tigers

Can’t help but feel like Murphy was watching England and just decided to copy their tactics, and much like for them it didn’t work for us slowing the ball and then aimlessly kicking away, and then leaving quicker attacking players on the bench unused in Simmons and Aspland-Robinson, couldn’t have do...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 5

Which development players though? We have no centers in the development squad. I think Worth is the natural replacement for Tait at fullback who could cover centre. As for Smith possibly Olowofela although I’ve not seen him play centre possibly also Aspland-Robinson although again I’ve not seen a l...

Re: Wales v England

Just seem to have reverted back to the team of last year, where they didn’t have a plan b and Jones refused to bring in the subs who could have changed the pace of the game with Genge, Ford and Robson. And again Daly showed his weakness under the high ball all teams are going to target that.

Re: Worcester vs Tigers

Also Reffell is with the U20s, therefore he is also unavailable, this is why I think the U20s Six Nations should be moved to a later date as this time of year is the perfect opportunity to get gametime with the club but can’t because their playing for their country. We’ve been lucky to hold onto He...

Re: Worcester vs Tigers

It’s good to see us getting a few players back such as Spencer and Thompson, also hope Simmons can really inject some pace when he comes on, I was impressed with him this time last year when he came in. Like other I’m a bit worried about our back row although hopefully their physicality and experien...

Re: Sarries next week

For me yesterday Worth reminded me of the likes of Matt Smith and Tait, in that although he may never be the best in any one position, but cover quite a few and won’t let you down in any of them. Which is a great player to have in the squad and he could go on to be a great club servant, much like th...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 5

Personally I'm more heartened by the squad as a whole being bolstered by re-signing a number of talented players rather than 1 'blockbuster' signing when lengthy injuries are so much a part of the modern game. I don’t have an issue with the announcement of resignings, in fact I’m pretty pleased by ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 5

Suspect the next 3 will be Joe Hayes, Jordan Olowofela and Jonah Holmes going by the tweet of future stars. Although I also hope they’ve locked down Karr and Raffell so they’re not swayed to sign for teams on their country to further international ambitions. Maybe they’ll announce a couple of new si...
