Re: Tigers v Wasps

Not injustice, inconsistent. Couldn't understand why JP seemed to think that because there was cover it wasn't a yellow?

Re: World league of nations

I dont think that the bigger nations are fair with the Pacific Islands.....they get very little financial return when playing these countries and I cannot recall tours taking place in these Islands....The All Blacks charge just to turn up for a game It's all about money and the big boys are never f...

Re: World league of nations

I think it's a bad idea and more money chasing. I don't think the Pacific Nations players help their own nations causes though as when I look at the amount of players across the world who could be playing for their country but they selfishly choose to chase the money instead playing for European cl...

Has Eastmond contributed anything positive in any game? He seems contact shy.
You were listening to Austin! He did ok for the try and tackled well

Re: Mark Wilson

More homegrown talent/squad would be used though with ringfencing. Imagine, like our Irish counterparts, being able to rest our top players before/after a big European game instead of having to rush them back in as happens now. Hello all, Not meaning to be obtuse but why would we be able to rest play...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 5

It's just a report of a report. Let's not get all doom and gloom. I very much doubt England would invoke special circumstances as that would start a flood, so I wouldn't imagine he'd want to kill his England career just yet

Most pointless thing in the game - refs shouting use it and players just generally ignore it. Don't think I've ever seen a penalty or free kick given against.
You can't give a pen or free kick from not using it from the scrum. I tend to think when they shout it means 'use it or we re set'

Re: Use it from Nigel Owens

At the risk of introducing seriousness to the thread, I thought the 'use it' time limit only applies to rucks. So what happens if the ball isn't used from the scrum when Sir shouts?

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 5

Am I the only one not wanting big names? Good players, yes. Players we spend a vast amount of cap on, who are away for chunks of season, who have achieved their peaks already. Our last few big name signings haven't really worked that well, and look at Toulon! I'd far prefer some proper scouting to b...

Re: The Six Nations 2019

I do think though that we "lucked out" with injuries,Te'o and Shields both would've started if fit imo. I think Wilson is a far better all round player than Shields,he could become the new Richard Hill. :smt023 +1. Never seen what is so special about Shields certainly not to warrant a fast track no...

Perhaps players don't want to come to Tigers anymore.

Now, that IS negativity, ........even if it is true. :smt018
I love the way people build a whole theory on a vague rumour..........
