Re: Horacio Agulla

More than anyone he has been a true international player with a full range of exceptional skills. I think it is a mistake not to come to an accommodation.

Re: Congratulations Mr Cockerill

Congratulations Broadstaff. You seem to be the only one who can accept that you might have been wrong. There you go again - the team changes its approach and attitude profoundly, so those who accurately pointed out the previous malaise are not accepting they were wrong? If that's what you mean I re...

Re: Congratulations Mr Cockerill

If you look at the change it has been down to a short period when 12T decided to go, we had a mare at Exeter and GM took the reins. Don't belittle what a difference that could make - GM has more clout with the players I would suspect than anyone but RC. We then suddenly start playing with intensity ...

Smurf's talk - bottle it and sell it!

Since the legendary Smurf talk the team has turned up and shown it for the shirt. There has been a change in attitude, execution and far more mobility in tactics. Dare I say it - with Grindal at SH!!!!! Who would've guessed it, well done Grindal, as well as our monsters like Mafi, Woollypully and th...

Re: Rowntree coaches England to win, but Farrell ****!

Nah we are still tight - it's just that Crofty has had flashes of the old game coming back for a while (regardless of whether at Tigers or England) and I think the mobility of Morgan has created that degree of chaos that Crofty thrives on. Nobody has worked Morgan out yet, clearly a real thinking pl...

Re: Rowntree coaches England to win, but Farrell ****!

I think Crofty has come back on song despite England to some degree. Certainly we lack a specialist 7 and it shows. I would rather think it is the work of Morgan and the tight five that has added value to Croft (as would TTTE etc)by covering, breaking or threatening dynamically - it is in that enviro...

When I find myself agreeing 100% with Tiglon - which I do - then it's time for a deep breath and a cup of tea! :smt023

Re: Ben Youngs, back to old self

On replay all the fault was Ireland's. BY get's the ball, walks to where Owens is, gets a nod from Crofty (and Morgan in the know as well) and off he goes with Crofty and Morgan close behind. Dead obvious but not if you are still protesting and not watching.

Re: Rowntree coaches England to win, but Farrell ****!

IMHO the shame is that due to Englands dominance at the set piece their difficiencies elsewhere will be overlooked - both in terms of selection and coaching. Quite so, but we are merely churls. We used to call it 'emperor's new clothes'. No side getting mullered that badly at setpiece usually stand...

Re: Rowntree coaches England to win, but Farrell ****!

I think that there is a distance between the hype and the reality that would be exposed by a solid side - the complete lack of back line fluidity, no creativity at 10/12, no use of back 3 and so on. Don't let Wig's genius blind you to reality! Not Lancaster, Wig - the one man all the players listen ...
