Re: Dead dead rubber v Ulster

OK here goes ready for the abuse that will surely come from some quarters on this Forum Now is the time to stop moaning about what has happened in the past and start Supporting the Team. Don't know if the players actually read this Forum but I think some will and they will be feeling very dishearte...

Re: Team News v Scarlets

Louis, my evidence is from my son who lives in Bath and is very friendly with a few Bath players, who in turn are friendly with some players in the Tigers squad. According to them the senior players mentioned have the ear of Murphy and certain board members and try to and succeed in getting their w...

Re: Congratulations Edinburgh

As I am a fan of Richard Cockerill, once again I watched Edingburgh last night v Toulon. Fantastic performance with excellent attack and defence. Just shows what can be achieved when the Head Coach gets full backing. And you’re one of 2 professional sides in a country with the full backing of the S...

Re: Severity of injuries and high tackles (official figures)

Agree with all the suggestions and would add my bugbear, the 'breakdown' previously known as the tackle. Go back to the original concept of dual release, ball secured by driving over with the only contact allowed being engagement using grip. Upright snuffing of ball declared dead ball, put in to at...

Pretty expected tbh. It's sensible to change the team and prepare the players for the time of the 6 Nations.

Evans vs Holmes on the same wing. Could be a direct battle to make the Wales squad.
Holmes a better line taker and team player IMO, Evans too much of a glory boy.

Re: Coaches

Whilst private school bias still lingers is not as bad as it used to be but for me the real problem in the Tigers DPP and Academy is the emphasis on physique over skillset, but from what I hear selectors did this very reluctantly, acting on instructions from the top. Yet in the rugby school I used ...

God you're bitter about the English game BFG :smt005
He is not the only one. Discussions on here in the past with previous posters who coach have come to the same conclusion. I have witnessed it first hand.

Especially with Steff Evans being in poor form too
And IMO a glory boy, not a great team player when it comes to releasing the ball

Green will not bridge the gap between where Leicester are now and Sarries/Exeter.
By the way this is exactly what Cockers wanted doing a few years ago in the need to recruit next level quality forwards.
And what was denied him by the BoD, as well as the extra coaches.
