Re: Saracens are relegated!

Chiefs are my family team, I'm the odd one out. There are qualifications on the part myth about the 3 forwards concerned, just make the point TTTE was initially not a fans favourite, indeed was close to ejection, until there was an assertion of coach power; he remained a bit of a curate's egg for ma...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

PRL will have to show they have teeth. They will be encouraged by some of the other club owners/CEOs, and I suspect they will have had and may still have Tony Rowe badgering them daily. It's a mission for that man! :smt009

Change of ref with Ben Whitehouse now the man in the middle for our game in Pau
Not unhappy with that
Was excellent when he started, very decisive and to the Laws but went off the boil, like too many do, in the name of 'entertainment. Better than Clancy though! :smt005

Re: Refs talk too much in English

I think it also highlights what is being complained about elsewhere. A player either off his feet or interfering should be penalised; in the few matches I have been able to attend recently, the ball has been slowed down incessantly - it only takes a fraction of a second for a defence to gain an adva...

Re: Staying on your feet???

Am I wrong in thinking the refs have abandoned the notion of staying on your feet at rucks, especially if you are the attacking side? The number of times yesterday BOTH sides dived over the top of rucks in order to create a barrier continued to amaze me. Sometimes players even went well beyond the ...

Re: Tigers vs Cardiff - 12th January 2020

With BFG here, told you Cardiff backs would be good. Would be far happier if we'd put 30 on them in the first half using our strongest.
This was either very confident from GM or a lucky roll of the dice. If the former, looks good for 6N.

Re: Tigers vs Cardiff - 12th January 2020

So I got slagged for saying I wasn't happy with the team, underpowered etc etc? And I have never rated White. I just hope Tigers get an injection of speed off the bench.
I told you Blues backs would be mustard!

The punishment has been made. Whether we agree or not is now irrelevant.

What matters is that they are forced to comply and if they don’t then the punishment should be greater.

So I thought the accepted wisdom on here was that we'd pick a strong team, whoop Cardiff, qualify and relax a bit in Pau?

What do I know?
Same here.

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

I do respect your right to express an opinion, it just doesn't seem to be a very coherent position. It might be me being slow. But the logical extension of your argument seems to be: a) IF at some stage in the future any very strong premiership club team seriously transgresses and has its premiersh...

Securing top place for the next round before Pau away does make sense.

Re: Tigers vs Cardiff - 12th January 2020

Underpowered and untried team. No idea what GM is playing at. Full strength side, this side goes to Pau after cementing top place while top players rest? Would've turned out best team as Cardiff are! Could be another mistake amongst many. :smt009 :smt009 Joe Batley is definitely under powered after...

Re: New way of supporting Matt

Just a thought - instead of what looks like desperation on the cover of the lap tops the team coaches use (‚your brand name here‘ or whatever it says) and get seen on TV, why don‘t we use the Matt Hampson web site address? Surely we are a big enough club (OK, fallen on hard times on the pitch) that...
