I haven't got my hopes up for 3 seasons.
You doom monger JG! :smt002
It's the Hope that kills you :smt009
Dave has been close enough to hear my expletives in past seasons. He knows better than say MOC to me. :smt023

Re: Sam Costelow

To be an 'academy player' who doesn't fall under the senior ceiling their contract has to be below £30k a year. So even if Sam was signed to a 2 year development squad contract it won't have broken the bank for the WRU and Cardiff to bring him in. The WRU are openly targeting players based outside ...

Re: Sam Costelow

Many careers have foundered out in Llanelli. While the WRU practises poaching and blackmailing, players have to remember for the WRU (and the RFU) they are instantly forgettable as the mood suits. I wish him well and hope he gets the development and showcase for his talent; Tigers should make sure h...

Re: Ed Griffiths in more trouble?

Interesting that in addition to refusing a forensic inspection of this years books as an alternative to automatic relegation they were also refusing examination of historic books. The only reasonable conclusion is that there are things to hide going back many years and for that reason I don't belie...

Allegedly quite ferocious: "My name is Inigo Montoya" etc. :smt005

Re: Saracens are relegated!

Reading the report it is astonishing how comprehensive Sarries challenge was, despite Wray and the CEO admitting a cap was necessary. They were attempting to drive a coach, horses and the cavalry through the cap!

Re: Borthwick

The rot started when the BoD refused to put money into coaching post MOC. We needed an injection of quality coaches but got either nothing or IMO useless appointments of Mauger/Hansen, then the second coming of MOC. A concatenation of disasters that IMO left the club in ruins. A lot has been done to...

Re: Saracens are relegated!

The whole thing is a bit unsatisfactory, in my view. They are still over the cap. They are relegated irrespective of points gained. I don't think they should be allowed to play this season any more. Chalk their results off and give teams an automatic four points. That would give fairness for all th...

Re: Saracens are relegated!

What stuns me is that from the top to the bottom at Sarries (the fans) nobody seems to accept they were persistently breaking the rules. Indeed some fan comments border on the tinfoil hat brigade with conspiracy theories etc. WE thought they were breaking the rules with signings like Smit (for very...

Surprised by Moon and Umaga, Grayson and Smith ahead of him surely?
I expect Smith to fall by the wayside as he gets 'read' more easily, and Grayson needs to mature a bit. Umaga will get a smell of a cap if EJ wants to keep him, methinks he is a sub-Freddy but that's just me.
