Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November

It doesn't look like all the aimless kicking is a plan. But every time they hold onto the ball for more than one phase all semblance of organisation has disappeared, no one has a clue what they're doing or where they're supposed to be, so the only option remaining is to hoof it.

Re: CRISIS: WHAT CRISIS?

From my understanding the rugby committee consists of: Peter Tom Simon Cohen Ged Glynn Geordan Murphy Ben Kay Rory Underwood I'm not sure whether Jan McGinity is now on that but if he isn't I see little means for him to change things given how Tigers run. McGinity needs to be one of the loudest voi...

Re: CRISIS: WHAT CRISIS?

As a supporter, I just want to hear that the senior people at the club comprehend just how bad things have become.

And then for a lot of them to resign.

Re: Borthwick

I have zero idea who is avaliable but we need some sore of kick start whether its a new coach or complete and utter verbal board backing for Murphy. Simon Cohen informed the first supporters forum at the beginning of this season that the board were totally behind Murphy and their goal for this seas...

Re: Tigers v Calvisano

These games fall into the CBA category. Sorry..........I'm too depressed to care. Never thought I would say it but I feel the same. Added to the fact that Tigers are likely to win next weekend only because Calvisano are even more dross than we are so it won't be much of a contest in the runners up ...

Re: Murphy coaches and relegation

I would have thought, given the large scale disappointment in the fan base, that the club would issue some kind of statement. "We've identified and appointed a new coach, however they will not be able to start until April." "We are in the process of reviewing the coaching set up" "We know performan...

Re: Do they read this forum

It is only a game, but these people are paid good money to look after the club. I would feel personally embarrassed if the business I am paid to manage declined in the way that Leicester Tigers has. Also I would have been sacked some time ago. Criticism is always hurtful, but after a decade of the t...

Re: Henley Business School Case Study - The Demise of Sporting Institution

A politicised environment with cliques of influential players looking after themselves, a teflon CEO, a jobs for the boys culture. Arrogance, a lack of transparency at board level, and a constant harking back to what has worked in the past to bring future success. This. Exactly this. For what it's ...

Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November

GET THESE COACHES OUT OF MY CLUB :smt038 :smt038 :smt038 But it's not your club? This is the bit that hurts an old exile more than anything. Why do I support Tigers? Because they are my hometown club and that club was full of local, or at least English talent. What allegiance can I hold to a bunch ...

Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November

It's a shame that some are going down the xenophobic route and blaming the foreign players for everything.

Re: Murphy coaches and relegation

We've repeatedly done the football thing and sacked the coaches with no plan of how to move forward. That is one of the reasons we are in this current mess. Another knee jerk reaction will do absolutely nothing. We have experienced coaches in place, it's not like there's a bunch of new coaches runn...

Re: Murphy coaches and relegation

I don't think passion is the problem. They just aren't organised, there doesn't seem to be a game plan or structure to anything.

That's basically an own goal. Throwing a long line out on your own 5m line whilst your players aren't looking....
When an opposition player is stood in the exact spot you're throwing to. Wood barely had to move for it...

Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November

Saints playing very sensibly while down to 14. Impressive team considering the lack of "star players".
