Re: Will games get cancelled?

There are set competition rules for any games that are not played - someone can dig them out if they really want to. It will be unsatisfactory for everyone involved if no other game gets played this season but talk of Sarries escaping relegation is completely made up.

Re: May, Kalamafoni and McPhillps extended injuries

For differing reasons though based on the hearsay, conjecture and rumor that has been around recently would like to see at least one more appearance (at least) in a Leicester shirt from both Kalamafoni and May - if only for a proper farewell and to say thanks... There will undoubtedly be disruption ...

Re: England v Wales

It was a red card all day long, the right arm is never going to be used whatever height that North is, and the onus is on the tackler as to where to other players head is under the regulations. That being said, the laws of the game seem to be favouring the use of red cards when yellow would easily s...

Re: Coronavirus: Sarries know best!

Let's be clear, the issue isn't with the medical advice given and who should be more cautious etc.

The issue here is with using any excuse to knock Sarries whether it's relevant to the salary cap issue or not.

Re: Coronavirus: Sarries know best!

"No, the RFU aren't following the advice. They are being over cautious, probably because the hit of canceling an international game is much worse than a league game. But don't let that stop you from bashing Sarries at any opportunity for no reason." You make no sense. If the RFU was being overcauti...

GM should be thought of like Humphreys for Gloucester.

Re: Murphy's "vision".

What exactly would you do? Replace Murphy as coach? Oh wait, the club have already done that, they're just waiting for the new guy to serve his notice period.

Don't pretend that running any sports team is like running a normal business.

Re: Murphy's "vision".

Seems like a lot of overreacting on here. Club and GM both state that day to day coaching is not GM's strong point. Club find and sign what the majority of rugby fans feel is a very good coach on the up to take over the coaching team. Players etc sing GM's praises when it comes to vision etc and fan...

Re: England v Ireland

It's not bias, it's recognition of how well the opposition have played to win. With England it's always we played poorly and this or that didn't go to plan or it's an away match so a loss is to be expected and never an acceptance that the opponents were just better. France have changed and been bet...

Re: England v Ireland

The constant carping about England (and in particular Jones beggars belief) in my ever so 'umble opinion. Only two teams reached the WC Final and one demolished the All Blacks in the SF. It was a fine achievement. They have played 240 minutes of rugby - yet supposedly we aren't developing into a te...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

Gloucester are reportedly bidding to pip Leicester to the signing of Saracens hooker Jack Singleton according to Gloucestershire Live. If this is just a loan then I won't be disappointed. if it's a long term signing for Gloucester then I think we should be trying harder to find another decent hooke...

Re: Captaincy

Taufua was skipper for Tasman I believe. OTY just isn't a captain, picking him over Slater was a large piece of the jigsaw of daft decisions over recent years. Top bloke & an inspiration Youngs, but not a skipper. I'm not sure anybody on here can judge if TY should be skipper. It's down to the resp...

Re: RFU halves Championship funding.

I understand that lots of international players have played, and future ones currently play, in the championship. But almost none of them are actually from championship teams, they are being loaned out or were released from premiership academies for game time. The two Bedford examples are very much...
