Re: Warning - Lane closure Welford Road
The lane closure isnt actually outside the ground, but on the part of Welford Road leading from the city past the prison to where the road splits around the Tigers ground. The traffic was backing up along both bits last night from about 4pm

Warning - Lane closure Welford Road
The Mayor and council have an "experimental lane closure" on Welford Road running from Newarke Street county bound past the city council tower blocks and down as far almost as the Tigers ground. It wasn't too bad during half term but it has been causing long tailbacks and jams during evening rush ho...

Re: Can anyone help a confused old Bogtrotter?
Don't blame me, I have to act or say something when a user states they are offended and will be reporting to the Club. All I said was tone it down a little. And remember that irony, sarcasm and the like don't always translate on a messageboard - even with emoticons and nudges that it's meant as a jo...

Re: Can anyone help a confused old Bogtrotter?
Baggy Trousers, I have received a complaint about the "racist and libellous tone" of your original post. Please could I request you to tone it down a bit? Thank you.

Re: Thats enough
There is nothing the moderators can do if someone decides to stop posting, many visit and don't post (so I am told), some go away and return a few weeks/months later, some go and never come back. one or two go and return under a different name (for whatever reason). Without discussions and debates, ...

Re: Struck by a coin in the MET RX
Total mountain out of a mole hill situation. Nobody is hurt. Move on. Pick the fifty pence up and buy a bag of crips or alternatively admit you've made it all up or got it wrong...non story. Whether an injury was caused or not, the intent was there and had it hit a child or hit someone's eye then w...

Re: A Question To The Anti-Cockers Brigade
*sigh* what I said was that discussion and debate can and should continue, but not if people insist on being personally insulting or personally attacking other users instead of entering into said discussion/debate. That is not "paying lip service" in my view it is simply good manners, civility and r...

Re: A Question To The Anti-Cockers Brigade
In the interests of open discussion we try to let people loose with argument and debate, however accusations of "not being a proper fan" or that someone is not entitled to post here because they cannot (for whatever reason) attend games is - quite simply - not acceptable. NO-ONE - whoever they are a...

It's not breaking any rules, and if we closed every thread containing whinges there wouldn't be a forum.

no idea, there used to be more available but after the last forum/site rebuild they disappeared. I have tried adding more via the admin panel but they don't show up.
