Re: England v Italy - 13th Feb at 14:15

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back

Are we having a clear out or are some realising Tigers are not the club they thought it was or worse than that dissention among the players. I do not know what to make of it, but will save money. Are the immediate releases a desperate attempt to get us within the salary cap before the end of the se...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2020-21

Gigena announced by London Irish. Interestingly Irish state he joins as a free agent following his release from us - suggests no pay out to buy him from his contract. Maybe but at least we save on his wages Seems to me an attempt to reduce our cap, especially now Montoya has arrived early, you woul...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

well it could be a bad look to say you want someone else's job whilst they are still in it, also could upset things at Exeter, players he wants to join would be thinking about how committed he is I cant think of a good reason why Baxter would want to leave Exeter, he has a nice cosy niche there, we...

Re: Progress Under Borthwick

We have a much improved squad, some great signings, no depending on loan players, we must have improved its just now a case of getting settled/combinations of players regularly onto the pitch and improving the game plan, i'm sure it will come as long as they recognise when its time to stop the box ...

I remember where we have come from, which is 2 seasons of being 11th - I believe this is progress. It’s likely to take time to get to where we were 8 years ago. At this stage praise seems more valid than criticism.
Agreed , but constructive comments should not be taken as criticism.

If Jones goes we best hope the blazers don't come looking for SB :smt017
But I think SB game plan is identical to EJ, he was taught it by Jones and I'm hopeful that having left England Tigers will get it modified.

Re: Tigers vs Worcester - Sat 06 Feb 1500

Late Worcester tries were conceded when the game had been won, with such a good lead. Cannot criticise the defence really as had it been a tighter finish I would have backed them to regroup and hold full concentration. Please don't forget 1 try came when they were down to 14 men, and 1 of their tri...
