Re: Away vs Quins Sat 13th Feb
It wasn’t a great performance but it’s really not that disastrous - we are progressing from what was a very low base (let’s not forget where we were) but there’s still much more to be done. The fact that our 3 best players are under 21 is great news for the next few years. Add in to that that Heyes...

Re: Away vs Quins Sat 13th Feb
I explained it in my post that you have quoted Not a bad performance I grant you, but the result can't be much worse. The result could have been a lot worse. They were still in the game for 2 points up to the final play. Sorry to disagree with you again but how can a result of 5 -0 be a lot worse?

Re: Away vs Quins Sat 13th Feb
How stupid is that Maul rule, clearly we were going forward, possibly collapsed by them and its a turn over, end of game, crazy rule.

JVP overtaking Wigglesworth and White already! He does take an age at the conga ruck though. Like YBY looks better when he plays quickly. Moroni looking rusty at 14. Our KO reception is embarrassing When’s the last time Ben Youngs has played quickly? I thought he was today for England.

Re: Away vs Quins Sat 13th Feb
I am still have concerned about Heyes scrummaging, I still think he is too tall, he has to set up with his feet so far back to ensure his hips are not up, at the last scrum his right knee was on the ground but he got away with it.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back
Do we anticipate any more loanees going out, only other clubs that are maybe near enough would likely be Doncaster, Amptill or Bedford, but all of those are fair jaunts. I also notice someone on Facebook saying that he'd like to see Sam Lewis work while at Cov on his backup position in the 2nd Row ...

Re: Away vs Quins Sat 13th Feb
Anyone know why we are training at Leicester Forest rugby club? Because its a plastic pitch. Sorry if others have posted this already. Its a RFU funded pitch, each county was to have one but RFU ran out of money, its an excellent facility with great flood lights, so probably only playable pitch in ...

Re: England v Italy - 13th Feb at 14:15
I wouldn’t try to put him anywhere. Leave him out of the squad completely. Ford, Smith and Simmonds are the players to have at fly half going forward. Farrell can play in the Championship this season and then most likely back in the Premiership next season. But if Eddie insisted on picking him, wou...

Re: England v Italy - 13th Feb at 14:15
Farrell is a good player, who: 1. Can place kick well 2. Can follow a game plan 3. Has a good pass to the left 4. Does not get the red Mist 5. Is liked by Eddie Jones. That’s all I’ve got. It’s simply not enough to be considered world class, and certainly not enough to be undroppable. We are now ha...

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?
For those that have not visited Saracens recently they were still reliant on portacabins whenn we last played them in the Premiership, furthermore they had roped off portaloos because that corner of the ground was being used for players to exit the pitch and I would not be surprised to learn that o...
