Re: So proud...

We certainly look more like a team. (Shame we are losing some of the key elements in Burns and Williams) Had Matt O'Connor been in place earlier in the season would they have been let go so easily? For the first time in a while we looked like we could beat a top of division side away from home. But...

Re: So proud...

Just about got over my disappointment - so close. I'm surprised Carley hasn't received more criticism - it's easy to keep the ball alive if you can throw the ball forward. From where I was sitting the 4 minute passage of possession had 2 or 3 questionable passes. I guess he must have missed the cla...

Re: So proud...

It was a great game of rugby and we walk away with heads held high. On the balance of the season you would have to say that Wasps deserve their place in the final but on the balance of the game itself I thought we edged it and would have won had we had a decent ref capable of seeing when balls are ...

Re: Chiefs beat Sarries

I thought Sarries looked knackered to be honest but you've got to hand it to the Chiefs: they have got better each season they have been in the Prem. Table doesn't lie in my view: top two are contesting the Final and, despite the guts shown in defeat on Saturday, the table is probably a good place ...

Re: Ricoh Arena....

As a 75 yr old I was not looking forward to the visit based on previous adverse comments I had read, but I have to say, it was not too bad. Announcer was a bit over the top, drummers were not too bad, better than the Indian drummers we get, but this is based on the fact that the drummers were in th...

Re: CEO and Board ... you haven't been forgotten

Tigers have a relatively small board of directors and only three of them draw a salary from the club, in each case they were employed by the club in a non director roll prior to being elevated to the board. In the case of Andrea and Ian they were employed for many years before promotion to board le...

On the subject of SArries & their winning of the Euro final two years in a row with the demolition of Saturdays French opposition, with or without Nigel Celebrity Ref Owens - some context - We at Tigers are like NASA - talking about going back to land on the moon after a long delay in visiting that...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread

I'll apologise for this before I say it as I've had to deal with it with 3 of my staff in the last 5 years. I'd be hugely surprised if Sam is for the off as none of us know how the Youngs brothers will deal with the awful situation they are now in and thus with the prospect of Ben (neither mind his ...

Re: Saracens v Clermont

Sorry, SGR, thought Lopez made a genuine attempt to catch the ball and, if he had, he was away for Sarries try line........except for the advantage that Owens was already playing.
I thought he got the knock on off Burger's hand right too.
The non-yellow under the posts was debatable though
