Re: The end of away support?

Rugby isn't dying ! The RFU are a bunch of amateurs who play with the sport like a kid plays with toys re: rule changes etc, but the skill and commitment oif so many players is surely undimmed ? The match against Leeds was a cracker ( yes "only" Leeds) but we chucked pill about and tackled like, wel...

Re: Vesty/Billy for next week? (Merged thread)

Vesty will be at a physical peak I'd guess, months of gym work and great diet with few collisions. I bet he's gagging for the responsibility and pressure of "big games" too judging by the way the boy stepped up last season. He will be the opposite of tired and the opposite of jaded. I say he's an und...

Re: TV Coverage - ESPN

I get ESPN with my Virgin cable package. They have an HD channel for live events such as UFC and french top 14 rugby and the quality is quite excellent.

Re: Leicester v Clermont Auvergne

I think Tuquiri has looked really suspect under the high ball....suspect doing anything in fact, really. Wouldn't trust him at full back with the likely blitzkrieg of high balls into our 22 on Saturday.

Re: Best cheap christmas presents?

Got the lads at the Christmas supporters evening to sign a menu with personal comments encouraging my 12 YO son in his own rugby playing: "Dan's the man ! - Best wishes, Toby Flood" " Keep your tackle up! - Moodos" etc etc. Had it framed for a tenner. My boy will go ape when he gets that ! I suspect...

Re: Disillusioned

"atmosphere" is subjective of course, but behind the goal at Twickenham was a sea of tigers shirts going ape.

Re: Dupuy in trouble?

Awful. I am disappointed in Dupuy. To lose respect for a great player is worse than watching their skill evaporate.

If found guilty he should be banned for lie I think. Deliberately risking blinding an opponent is vile.

At the Christmas supporters evening, Tom Croft revealed he hates watching rugby when he's not playing as it frustrates the heck out of him.

Re: Looks like Scotty's off to France then....

:(

At least we have Vesty, Twelvetrees and a bunch of other good uns to fill in, and maybe mature into first team regular slots.
