Re: Ospreys tomorrow night.

Been told by my Welsh pal that Ospreys are bringing a decent set of players with them tomorrow, would be really good to get a large crowd down, what do we think the attendance will be? Friday night, holiday weekend, could be good. Bank holiday Friday night travel for a fixture that will be vaguely ...

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Season 2016/17

Will there be more provision for fans who have to follow special diets like, vegan, vegetarian and diabetic? Are you serious? I do not know of one person with a special dietary requirement who would be willing to chance it at the food outlets of any sports stadium let alone Welford Road. Surely suc...

Re: Morris leaving

Tough for him, but that's the way sport goes. If he doesn't get long term injured we don't get Veanu in on his short term deal. And Veanu has certainly grabbed his chance with both hands. Tough choice for the club too - if he stays how long before people are moaning about all the sicknotes in the sq...

Re: Saturday in Leicester

Google the unofficial Tigers site - on the home page is a 'sticky' entitled 'A Visitor's Guide to Leicester' that details numerous pubs and places to eat, as recommended by the locals. (And for what it's worth, I'd head for Kayal - I love it there). Let's hope you are celebrating, not drowning your ...

Confirmed that Pearce is off http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... s-10969005
So who do we want as a new 8 - that bloke Manoa at Toulon looks like he could develop into a tidy player :smt002

Re: Bill W RIP

Perhaps they should rename the new clubhouse stand in his honour, or at least one of the catering outlets in there. That would make the mischievous old so and so cackle! :smt026 :smt026 :smt026 At least they will never put a roof on Welford Road, so he will always have a good view from on high. RIP ...

Re: Captain Hartley

Hartley's biggest challenge will be living up to the enhanced reputation he gained whilst sat on his 'arris during the World Cup. He was/is a decent hooker who couldn't nail down the starting position for England. Over the course of RWC he became the answer to everything. If you believed all the guf...

Re: Pearce and Sharks

Next season, in his favoured position, Bell would be behind Tait, Veianu, Morris, Betham. Filling in at 10 he will be behind Williams, Burns and Toomua. Decent squad player he may be (personally think he has a good kicking game and not too much beyond that) but it is understandable that he will see ...

Quins is the rumour I heard.

Bit odd if Pearce went to Sale - can't see him getting ahead of Beaumont, unless of course we do the decent thing and take Beaumont in exchange.

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback - Season 2015/16

Chips.........sorry about this as I am sure it's debated elsewhere......but for the Barf game I only had a sarnie at home before heading up the M1 and thought some chips would be good to fill in when I got to the ground. But I couldn't find anywhere selling chips around the Crumbie/Goldsmiths area....
