Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

maybe Bakewell will show how good he is with much better tools to work with, you can be the best coach in the world but if the players are just simply not good enough then it won't make a difference

Re: Ringfencing finally here?

Premiership teams, for safety reasons are not allowed to play against teams two divisions below them. A full time professional scrum will probably be far to strong for a pack made up of part timers and amateurs and there would be a strong possibility of someone getting seriously hurt. I have to agr...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

Here’s a radical idea, how about we play the guy that plays 12 internationally for England with great success, at 12 for Tigers... Because he's a better 13. Where's he played with greater success for England (beating the ABs). England lack a natural 12 of the same level as their three very good 13s...

We don’t need him, we actually have a half decent back row for next season and can’t see him fitting in.

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

Bye bye Welford Road though. A price you’d be willing to pay? King Power wouldn't move the Tigers out or Welford Road, unless it was a temporary thing whilst major renovations are made Who says? It was on the cards 15 years ago and why would a sole owner want to have to maintain two similar capacit...

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

KING POWER anyone? The owner could then mirror Bristol and become Sport Leicester.Stephen Lansdown is Mr Bristol. This could in my opinion be a better outcome for Tigers. The devil you know and all that...... :smt007 Bye bye Welford Road though. A price you’d be willing to pay? King Power wouldn't ...

i did not advocate dropping Cole for Heyes , but if Heyes is to progress to be a Premiership player he needs more than 2 or 3 minutes at the end of each game .
I would imagine Heyes is nailed on to start every cup game in both comps at this stage

Jan McGinity now confirmed. Also a new role for Glynn. www.leicestertigers.com/news/tigers-expand-team-behind-the-team Other reports suggest that Ford is also staying, and Pat Howard is to have a 'mentoring role', one week a month, to help Geordan push through the changes he wants to see. Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

Sadly there will be a time when the cap goes and when we have transfer windows with a league littered with the world's best players at the expense of our national team. Sound familiar? Rugby will never be popular or organised enough to do what the Premier League did, and if you want to talk the nat...

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

... this could potentially be a good move for the club, the possibility of the pressure finally got to the board. There is the chance of a consortium, brought together by a dedicated ex-Tiger who can see the possibility of taking this club to another level. Not sure what the chances of King Power t...
