Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

The best way to introduce young players is to do so a few at a time into an otherwise strong team, doing it in a big group when you know they’ll be playing a team of experienced pros is setting them up for a beating and unhelpful and will certainly damage their confidence and can harm their developm...

Re: England team v Tonga

That would have been a red for Kalamafoni last season. Brilliant officiating Sorry but the whole thing was a waste of time and poor reffing. Watson clearly dropped to his knees as the tackle was made, the tackle was legal, no need to review. Rugby will fast become a TMO bore fest with this sort of ...

Re: England team v Tonga

why was Slade used as a Full Back? we have other back 3 players in the squad so why select 2 centres on the bench? If it was just about match time start him Thursday vs USA Slade has played full back for Exeter and he did ok. The butchered try was solely down to Daley who was much too flat I wasn't...

Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

Worcester don't look that strong, I reckon Waller couldn't push my Grannies zimmer frame and 5 couldn't carry a water bottle in the Sahara without losing it! Pretty much every name in the Tigers list is talked about as potential 1st team, they'll be up against much stronger in the Premiership so it...

Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

How does this team selection suggest we are not taking it seriously? because Worcester are playing a strong team we have only a couple of first teamers selected. with the season the club had last season they shouldn't be handing victories to anyone let alone one likely to be by a large margin, we n...

Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

At the last supporters meeting at the end of last season the club stated that Tigers would take all future competitions seriously, as they were aware that they had not done so during that season. Furthermore, the club stated that it was all about developing a winning mentality and restoring confide...

Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

I thought Murphy said he would treat this as a development competition? no he said they are using it as pre season, so surely you'd want a few more senior players involved Very few senior players start in the first preseason fixture though. which is usually against much weaker opposition than a pre...

Wales assistant coach sent home from World Cup

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/49733089 Wales backs coach Rob Howley has been sent home from the World Cup for an alleged breach of World Rugby's laws covering betting and anti-corruption. The 48-year-old's departure is a huge blow just six days before Wales' opening game in Japan against P...
