Re: Up next....Premiership v Gloucester!

Tuilagi is like a headless chicken, falling off tackles at will. Ford has gifted them with a try due to yet another badly placed kick. A miracle we are on equal terms after 30 minutes

Mallinder the very worst tackler

Anyone advocating this player should see his totally abysmal attempts at tackling. Even Les from 40 years ago had more guts, and Ashton .Which is saying something

Re: Absolutely Worthless Cup

Think the point is---- why did he not play Tuilagi Toomau and Co who should take 2 Game rest in the Anglo Welsh and degrade Tigers reputation as well as cheating the supporters who had paid a fortune to go to France. What the Board should do is offer to recompense all who went to Castres.

Re: Castres vs Tigers

The very worst backline I have ever seen at the Tigers in 65 years and No 10 and 14 should never be seen the Tigers colours ever again. Abysmal. Feel very very sorry for the diehards who have wasted a fortune and O'Connor should be shot for reducing the Tigers to a laughing stock

There is absolutely zero chance of John Wells coming back to Tigers.

Re: Good article from Cockers re:Ford

Cant believe its all done and dusted that Ford stays.. What happens at the business end of the season if/when Flood is preferred !!!??? Bill is right--money talks and a 100K more per season would sway anyone. Will Cockerill break the bank to keep him---because LOADS of Clubs will offer him a darn si...

Re: RWC 2015 venues.. no welford road??

Half of the Stadiums chosen will not even reach one third capacity-anyone seriously believe 50000 football mad Tynesiders are going to turn up to watch a Rugby Match... especially at vastly inflated prices, just like the Olympics !!! Some totally stupid choices-hope it backfires on the idiots in as ...

Rob Miller

As it is highly likely Sale will go down, they have one player who would surely fit in at Tigers.
With GM near the end of a legendary career and Hamilton ditto , we admittedly have Morris who is looking better every match.
But we need back up, and Miller would be ideal .
Anyone agree ?

Re: George Ford has hand skills Floody can only dream of

As proven yet again, tonight Ford is streets ahead of Flood, but the latter is still a very good No 10. However Tigers HAVE to keep Ford and if Flood wont move to 12, well then Cockerill has big problem...

Re: George Ford

I thinkthe George Ford we are talking about proved himself time and time again last season.... In black and white---Flood , whilst the best of the rest bar Burns, is not on the same wavelength as Ford.. !! Any player/Coach will tell you Ford is the real deal. Question is-which of the two is RC going...

Re: George Ford

All this cross refence chit chat is completely immaterial... !! The 64000$ question is--- do Tigers want Ford or do they want Flood ?? It is highly likely Ford and his advisor( s) will be basically making their minds up in the next couple of months... and one would assume, hopefully wrongly, that IF...

Re: George Ford

????? I really dont think you will find one single Professional analyst of first class rugby who thinks Flood is anywhere near Ford in terms of potential or class...!! Flood is a good sturdy sometimes effervescent five eights--but if you have studied fly halves as long as most of our vintage --he is...

Re: George Ford

I believe a couple of you have your heads in the sand a bit here !! But its a free world still in the Uk and democracy and freedom of speech are mostly still allowable. Facts are--Tigers supporters have no divine right to expect Ford (and Twelvetrees !! ) or anyone else to stay at Welford Road for''...
