Re: Jordan Crane

a) waldrom has evidently been at least third choice for england of late, behind morgan and dowson.

b) from outside the tigers camp, i am interested to see how crane comes back. good luck to him, but who will be waterboy now?

Re: HC Cup next season

. Not sure why Saints get a Tier 1 spot though! :smt017 simples, really. its because we (saints) have outperformed tigers and every other english club in european competition over the last four years,as per the erc system. with the vagaries of the tier system though, you can still find yourselves in...

casualty report

from the heights of the south-west corner of twickenham yesterday i saw a gentlemen in the south stand lower tier carried out by the medics. he appeared to be wearing a tigers top, and to be on oxygen. so i wanted to send my best wishes, and without impinging on a sensitive area, wondered if anyone ...

Re: Thank you to all the departing Tigers.

respect to alex tuilagi for turning out and putting in a decent shift at soane tonga'uiha's testimonial match today ( mulipola and i think mafi also made appearances but they arent leaving you) alex scored a couple of tries and seemed to enjoy himself, including being the subject of some pantomime ...

Re: Salary Cap - Poll

smurphs, if you are still labouring under the impression barwell (either keith or leon) is playing sugar daddy to saints you are about a decade behind the times. as the only premiership club to make a profit every year over the last decade, including our year one league down, i am confident in saint...

Re: Salary Cap - Poll

i would suggest you guys dont overdose on the schadenfruede here, wasps woes might not be good for the league as a whole. we all need strong viable competition to thrive, and if wasps are vulnerable the majority of the other clubs may not be too far off. i'm not sure whether or not leicestershire is...

Re: Parking for Franklin Gardens

pipkoi - if you are going to be there that early and mobility is an issue the official club carpark is your best bet, they are well signpoted as you approach st james (especially from m1)and its pretty level from the car parks to the village (where the beer /food / sweets are)and the stadium concour...

Re: Any news on Clark hearing?

not enough to actually stop tuilagi playing in the world cup, though, eh, kingol? a match ban would have impacted more, but as we have seen time and again england players seem to get bans that affect their club more than their country, saints included. however, i do agree that bans should in matches...

Re: Hawkins Injury/Clark Citing - UPDATE - Now cited!

yes, callum has been suspended by the club ahead of his rfu hearing. its a revolutionary new tactic which might mitigate any ban that comes his way and somewhat surprising that no other club has thought to do this when one of their players is called to a disciplinary hearing, wouldnt you say? wonder...

Re: Matt O'Connor unhappy with England

from an england supporter of neither tigers nor sarries these comments did look a lot like sour grapes. it all looks particularly rich given cockerill has today confirmed ford will start in the lv final. so flood isnt good enough to start for tigers but should be for england? just comes off as arrog...

Re: Can London Irish do us a favour ?????

Jammy what nots or what? :smt011 of course the same has been said about tigers many times, most recently away at tigers when you contrived the win at the death. i for one though will simply take more encouragement from an away try bonus point against mid-table opposition than i might from a home tr...

Re: Sale target George Ford

bluntiger, i actually agree with most of what you are saying - one club players are going to become ever rarer as players look to maximise their earnings. but there has been a mythology built up around tigers that players would sign up and stay - at less than market rates on occasion (seemingly with...
