Would have preferred Manu at 13 but good luck to our Tigers.
Manu and Slade will switch around a fair bit I would guess
Yes I can see Manu standing at 13 when we are defending first phase scrums/lineouts.

Re: The Six Nations 2019

All the press reporting this morning that Daly is set to be retained at 15 :smt009 and Manu play 12 with Slade outside :smt018

Now I'm worried.

Re: The England Squad

No one seems to remember Sinckler's god-awful set piece performance in the reverse fixture last year then :smt017? I remember not so long ago Sinckler being so poor at scrummaging that Luke Wallace slid up along side him to be the fourth member of the front row - extra loose head on the tight head ...

Wellsy was a Police Officer. The Youngs family are farmers I believe, in Norfolk.

Ady Marriott was a farrier, so close!!

Re: The England Squad

Yes and no Dan Cole who will return to Tigers. That surprises me. Genge ahead of Moon however, which is no mean feat, given how well Moon played in the Autumn. I think I agree with Scott1 and hope Eddie plays GF, OW and Manu, definitely not Manu at 12. I suppose Slade is an option at 12 but he rarel...

Re: The England Squad

The start of the 6Ns is always exciting and this year it looks closer than ever, Ireland are definitely favourites, but England and Wales have credible chances and Scotland will be no pushover, especially at home. I think Jones will pick his teams based on the opposition, for example I'm sure Brown ...

Rumour has it that Bath are interested in signing Devoto
Let's hope we are too!

Good squad, but they will be up against it in Dublin!

Why would priestland, an international fly half, join us to sit on the bench when George ford is here ?
Most top teams have two top players for each position. One problem there, we are no longer a top team, but we still have the potential!! :smt003

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4

I don't see how we can have "the best front row in Europe" when neither of our first choice hookers can throw straight!! The front row is made up of three players not two. Kerr is a great prospect however, just needs experience. Is TPN staying on next year? Our lineout is a shadow of what it needs t...

Re: Gloucester 23

It's a fair point ellis and I largely agree, but as ourla says, if only these games were played on paper......

We should win, being at home and with Gloucester having so many injuries, let's bloomin' well hope so!!!

Re: Matt Papali’i

I largely agree with ABClub. Toomua is one of the good guys, but even he can lose confidence and thereafter some form..... Playing for Leicester and Australia that's hardly surprising, on current form!! We really will need him at 10 during the 6Ns, hopefully with Eastmond and Owen outside him and a ...

Re: Gloucester 23

I caught the first half hour of the Radio Leicester rugby show last night. George Chuter was on with Ian Cockerill. I've not heard it for a few weeks, but I was quite shocked by the negativity of both Ian and Chutes. Both were very clear that we don't have enough good players with sufficient quality...

Re: Defence Coach

Daniel Schofield in the DT today is reporting that Tigers are talking seriously to Mike Ford about the position of defence coach. Murphy is even quoted about the conversations.

That would be a positive outcome for me, better than Blake IMO.

Re: Quins must win 23

Genge and Cole vs Marler and Sinckler..... :smt016 :smt016 :smt016 It must be Xmas! :smt111 Yes I'm looking forward to that, if only they could have a proper dust up like in the "good ol' days"!! I would expect Mike Brown to be really fired up as well, he desperately wants that England 15 shirt bac...
