Re: This Time Tomorrow after the match

In the Taj having a curry, very cheerful if we've won and putting a brave face on it if we've lost (there are 2 Saints fans in our party)!

Re: Northampton v Leicester

John seems one of the more pragmatic Saints fans. Most I know (and there are many) regard the matches v Tigers as by far the most important of their season. I'd even go so far as to say that a majority would say it was more important to beat us at home in the GP last year than beat Munster in the HC...

Flood's Injury

I heard it on good authority that Flood snapped or ruptured his achilles again at the Heineken Cup Final and had another operation in London the following week. Apparently it will be November at best before he is back. It would be very dangerous to let Houghard go in the circs, unless the coaches ha...

Re: Who started the Swing Low singing?

Mike do you honestly think that most celtic fans are concerned that England have "highjacked" a generic rugby song ? See my earlier post at 12.55pm; the reason they immediately jeer and boo when an English club side sing SLSC is because like it or not, it's now associated with England and that bring...

Re: Who started the Swing Low singing?

The "Wild Tiger" posted by Pete earlier is brilliant, and perfect for Edinburgh against Leinster. Perhaps the words could be printed in this weeks programme or if it's too late, printed and handed out to Tigers fans outside Murrayfield ? If not and given my non - retentive memory we may have to sett...

Re: Who started the Swing Low singing?

My preference would be that ideally Tigers fans don't sing SLSC because it does definitely rile the opposition supporters and probably won't particularly encourage our foreign legion. I remember us singing SLSC at Lansdowne Rd v Leinster in the Heineken quarter final a few years ago. The Irish fans ...

Re: Cardiff v Leicester

I think the team will be as follows:- 1. Ayerza 2. Kayser 3. White 4. Wentzel 5. Kay 6. Croft 7. Woods 8. Crane 9. Ellis 10. Vesty 11. Hamilton 12. Mauger (Capt.) 13. Hipkiss 14. J. Murphy 15. G. Murphy 16. Chuter 17. Castro 18. Newby 19. Moody 20. Dupuy 21. Flood 22. Smith Ellis is more combative t...

Re: Any news on Alex's hearing? Yes - 4 week ban!

I spoke to Alex today at the Walkers and asked him if the club will appeal. He said YES.
Fingers crossed he's available for the repeat against Bath!!

Re: Filling the ground next season.

I have a diferent take on this. I have 3 terrace season tickets (one adult, 2 children) and we have already missed 3 matches (various commitments/holidays) this year and are due to miss Sale and Bath due to an Easter holiday. Next season we won't be renewing but will book our terrace tickets as far ...

Spare ticket for Gloucester

My friend is coming home for the weekend from his work in Germany. Does anybody have a spare standing ticket? If so please call Mark on 07730 416964. I've tried viagogo but they only have a pair of tickets, also can't believe they charge £7.50 service charge per ticket!! I'll never complain about Ti...

There's no doubt Bath were our bitterest rivals but that's purely because of the rivalry in the 90's. From my perspective Wasps are now definitely the team to beat, except for Northampton of course, as some of us have to work in Northants and the pain of losing is just too much......

Team v Bath

Yes I agree it's a strong team but would have preferred to see Cozza at lock and Newby in the back row. What's wrong with Julian White? Cannot believe he's not in the 22 and Meyer never referred to him being injured in the week. Also can't work out the bench; why have Newby, Deacon and Kay? 5 forwar...
