Re: England v Ireland

Joseph on the wing! What's the point of having Thorley in the squad if he's not going to pick him when all our other wings are injured?!

Seriously hope Manu lasts the duration, it's a massive risk only having two backs on the bench with Manu and Slade in the 23!!

Re: England v Ireland

If Manu's properly fit he must start. Slade on the bench. Hope Earl gets a start at 8 and it's a bout time Thorley was given a chance on the wing in place of Daly or move Daly back to 15 and put Thorley to 11. Jack Nowell is such a loss (Watson/Nowell by far our best 15s), but his whole career has b...

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

I'm always hopeful, but regretfully not optimistic about this game at all.

I shall watch from behind the back of the sofa as per usual!

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

Watched it on the TV, one of my better decisions recently! Great tackle by White, definitely not high, despite Dayglo's protests! Thought the forwards showed real fight in the second half, we have the "bones" of a promising pack, but still desperately need a first class hooker, much as a love OTY, h...

Re: 6 Nations 2020

So who do we neutrals cheer for in the Ireland v Wales match? Difficult, innit? I’m just a bit for Wales, mainly to shut up the annoying one-eyed Irish crowd! ..... and the whinger Sexton! ABW when it comes to rugby, happy with both results yesterday. Bring on the Irish and Welsh at HQ!

If Tigers had 7 more like him in their pack, we'd be at the other end of the table!! Nuff said.

Re: Scotland V England

I too felt sorry for Tom Dunn, it might be his only chance of a cap. George and LCD are the solid incumbents and it will take an injury for him to get another chance. Horrible game yesterday, but a good and much needed win. I also agree that Earl, Youngs and Genge played excellent cameos. Curry also...

Re: France v England

Anybody else struggling for enthusiasm this time around? With the world cup final capitulation, Tigers not currently doing very well and a chunk of the England team outed as ruinous cheats I have to say my appetite isnt really there this year. Blimey - I think you need a pick me up! Personally, as ...

Re: Tigers v Castres on April 4th - 12-45pm Kick Off

I just hope for a repeat of the last time we played Castres at Welford Road, not when we played them away that year! 😂 Don’t remind me of that Tigers’ capitulation in Castres! I went to the home game too and Castres got a try bonus point! Yes as you know Robes I was present for both those games and...

Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020

Didn't make the game but was following it whilst out, on the Tigers app. Got very concerned in the second half, I was at the Exeter game and it was deja vous for a time.....but a great result and confidence is massive so I hope/expect us to build on this over the next few weeks.

Yes a good/entertaining interview with some optimism for the future. Perhaps he's been told that Borthwick will be arriving sooner rather than later....
