Well if proof was ever needed that we are wedded to playing to an appallingly anal game plan based upon kicking the ball away it was today
I thought we looked better when we tried to run the ball

Re: Tigers vs Quins - 04 Oct 20 15:00

Since the restart I have just wanted one performance to give me hope for next season, this must be the one to do that. If its not then a 30+ year season Ticket holder who for the last few years has believed the clubs PR and has waited patiently for things to change may decide to walk away as I cann...

being cynical----
The only team we haven't put out against a team since restart is Loughborough Womens.
At least they'd make a game of it.
Might also learn how to work to a game plan.
Very constructive 😴

Saints forward Lawes suffered a knee injury in the eighth minute and Tuilagi hurt his Achilles four minutes later.

Manu didn’t last very long at all then.. same old story sadly
If it is his Achilles it could be a long rehab process depending on whether a strain or a tear .

Why not introduce 3 year season tickets to help the club until finances improve

All of those mentioned were good but imo not world class and would not say they had pace to burn

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

I have been a season ticket holder since 1984 and over all those years have seen numerous world class players at the Tigers. However, despite this I cannot recall too many outstanding 13’s if you exclude Manu. We have had very good 12’s including Howard, Allen, Toomua but not outside centres with pa...

Agree with outside centre and wing. Not sure we need any more props or a fly half.

Re: Team vs Saints

The ref was his usual make it up as he goes self, in my opinion. I thought Lavanini was unfortunate to get his yellow card. Mr Magoo would see that Cole caused it. I also thought that direct contact with the head in the tackle is a red card. It wasn't any different to Farrell's red card tackle. Had...

Does anyone one know how long Taufua has signed for because I suspect that he will go off at the end of the 20-21 season due to 25% pay cut :smt022

Re: Midweek Game - Wed 09 Sep Away to Wasps

Radio Leicester, the Mercury, BT and the national papers need to demand answers from Borthwick over his selection policy and total lack of attacking plan I am in no way disagreeing with you. My thoughts are this: What is the plan? Why: SB is no fool. Coached at the highest level. We've had big chan...

Re: Cards and punishment

Pat Lam was very concerned that players who are attacked and defend themselves are awarded the same or greater penalties. He said his 5' 11'' player was attacked by two men 6' 5" and 6' 7" and because he defended himself he had the same ban, In the street, he said, British law allows self defence -...

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20

Looking at the large contingent of SA players they are fielding they look as if they are emulating "Saffercens". By the quality of their squad and the fact they can afford to pay Manu I have to wonder is that the only leaf they have taken from their book? Sale have the smallest squad in the league....

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20

Agree with the principle of strong team against Sale/Saints in prep for the Castres games. My strong team would be something like Strongest Squad 15. Steward 14. Nadolo 13. Porter/Taute 12. Scott 11. Potter 10. Ford 9. Youngs 1. Genge 2. Youngs 3. Cole 4. Wells 5. Green 6. Liebenberg 7. Reffell 8. ...
