Re: COULD WELFORD ROAD BECOME A RUGBY GRAVEYARD?

The hotel will always be full - of guests attending celebrations at Leicester's new premier wedding venue. :smt003

Re: Tigers v Saints

Just been screwed by the officials. Blatant knock on by Nayavoro missed by them all and a try results.

Sounds like a description of Andrew Sheridan before and after Julian White hit him. :smt003 :smt005

Surprised to see no George Worth or Jonah Holmes. Have I missed the fact that they are injured?
Worth was injured just before the sale game and Holmes is also injured
Thanks RB. I thought GW was just a tweak in the warm up obviously more serious and I wasn't aware of JH.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6

For me the best lock combination is an enforcer plus an "athlete". So a Johnno, Louis Deacon, Ed Slater, Martin Corry type of player combined with someone like Ben Kay, Geoff Parling or Graham Kitchener when he first joined us. Then supplement these with a back row who's a really good jumper like Pe...

https://www.northamptonsaints.co.uk/news/harrison-returns-for-saints-in-premiership-rugby-cup-final Thoughts? so much for the prem cup being a developmental competition Saints have picked their strongest available 23 because this is their only realistic chance of winning anything this season. To be...

Re: New Coach?

Over many years I have read comments about the coaches on various messageboards, supporters make statements based on their opinion without knowing any of the facts. I believe the curent performance is down to the players or lack of them. Defence has been an issue, I believed that on many occasions ...

Williams is not an 8 for me.
Williams is not an 8 period. There are tried and tested options. Assuming Denton is still injured Evans, O'Connor and Thompson have all played there. For balance I would have Evans or O'Connor at 7, Thompson at 8 and Williams at 6.

Re: Manu to Racing 92? No! - Re-signed for Tigers!!!

Delighted with Manu re-signing. 12.Reid, Eastmond 13.Manu, Taute Midfield depth has been a problem for a few seasons and that is an improvement in a key area. Add Andy Forsyth on dual-reg, Worth being useful at 13 and Hardwick a talented 12. I'm optimistic about that for next season. I'm greedy. in...

Re: ARE THERE ANY LAWS IN THE GAME THAT YOU WOULD CHANGE?

I'm sure there must be a good few. What would you change, and why? Sorry if this has been done before. 1. Set a time limit for forming up at the line out and throwing the ball in. Too much time wasting. There seems to be a comittee meeting before each line out, then the players saunter up and get i...

Re: New Coach?

With regards to MightyMouse's post, MOC was IMO the issue over non-development. He stated he was first-team coach (i.e. not Development), to my memory avoided playing youngsters, and at Leinster was known as 'Black Door' after a local hostelry that shut the door on young people. I agree JG. Our big...

Bateman as well now. That's all we need. :smt022
Whilst not ideal we have more than adequate resources at loosehead with Genge, Gigena and Ma'afu.
