Question is can this teams score over 30 points tomorrow? I can't see it sadly
It may not have to. As long as it is 1 point ahead of Chiefs at the final whistle that's enough.

Re: Tigers v Chiefs

Pretty average looking Chiefs line-up. We should easily take them apart :smt005

Come on you Tigers :smt038 :smt038 :smt038

Re: David Denton

I had high hopes for him in a Tigers shirt and, who knows, they may still be realised. One can only hope that like Leigh Halfpenny and others he is able to return. Good luck with your recovery Dave and all the best whatever you decide to do.

Re: Ged Glynn

It's a funny thing sometimes with Tigers that information like this is met with silence. I would have thought they'd have confirmed or denied it along with the Mike Ford news. They can't have missed the speculation so the lack of a statement would suggest it's true...? Maybe they haven't decided wh...

Allez Toulouse! Great game. Enjoyed that one.
Me too. Fantastic Rugby in all 4 games. I'm hoping for a Toulouse v Munster final.

Re: Still no good news on the injury front

Is this due, I ponder, to the type of fitness programme we use. It's all extremely disconcerting. Thinking about it I would say no. Looking at some of this season's injuries: Ben Youngs injured with England; Dave Denton concussed in a match; Telusa injured in a match; Guy Thopmson injured in a matc...

Hallelujah...about time

Just watching La Rochelle demolish Bristol and the referee called use it to Bristol scrum half at the base of a ruck. The SH continued to wait around doing nothing and was penalised. How I wish more refs would do the same.

Re: David Denton

As always player welfare is paramount and his long term health is more important that the results of one game or any number of games or seasons. Let's hope this allows an injury dispensation because our back row is begging out for someone of his calibre. Isn't there a limit on the amount of money t...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6

Just to add a little to the rumour mill. It would appear from their individual Instagram feeds that Ellis Genge and Jack Nowell are holidaying at the same place. Wonder where he’s off to season after next, nice and close to Bristol too Or maybe Nowell's coming here when his current contract runs out.

Re: 5 games to pull that rabbit out of the hat!

I think the run-in I'd be most concerned about would be: Worcs(h); Exeter(a); Saracens(h); Bath(a); Harlequins(h). That's what faces Wasps. Interesting in that they play 3 of the same teams that we do. Can't see them beating Exeter or Sarries and the other 3 are not easy. Best I can see them managi...

Re: Players won't leave

Most of the England stars do not have an escape clause according to article in daily Mail today. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/article-6849493/No-escape-clause-Leicesters-England-stars-event-Premiership-relegation.html Salient points from article: A quartet of England stars could be p...

Re: next manager

Good analysis johnthegriff. The rot started when we tried the experiment of trying to marry the old Tigers approach with the style of play favoured by Aaron Mauger. When this didn't work the error was further compounded by getting rid of the wrong man i.e. Cockers and then further compounded by brin...
