Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20

Gibson didn't "fit in" last time he was here. Why would things be different if we re-signed him?

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

Doing some research on Enever, it seems he's never quite nailed down a starting spot at the Brumbies in the years he's been there. His selection for the Wallabies was something of a surprise and came because of a lot of injuries at lock. He does call the lineout, which is very useful. I'm not seein...

Just to temper expectations it is possible Montoya has signed for the season after next (which was when we wanted him to sign) in a Charles Piatau like deal
Good point kpj. if so maybe they've already built reduced wages into the negotiations so that we don't have that as an issue later.

Re: Julian Montoya

If he does join it might assist in us keeping Lavanini here.

Re: Back Row

Arrr you must all be youngsters. You must be if you weren’t you wouldn’t dream of listing the greatest back row forwards and omit Jean Pierre Rives. Have to agree with Jean Pierre Rives. Also surprised that Sergio Parisse, Mervyn Davies and Fergus Slattery don't get a mention. The latter two may be...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

BBC are reporting Maro Itoje is considering a loan move to Leicester Tigers & Racing92. Now that is what I call a second row replacement for Spencer, but not sure if it is really on! but perhaps this is the reason for the news delay ( cannot say news blackout these days) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport...

Re: Season Tickets

Sorry to hear your daughter and son-in-law had abuse hurled at them. Report such things to the club. We sit in the stand opposite the main shop end(Mattioni Woods Stand). We have sat with the same fans for many years: about15-20 on the back row and row in front; great banter, mixed age group, knowl...

Re: Who’s your pick for Lions 2021

Are clubs who are unlikely to have completed their domestic season going to release players for a non-international tour thus depriving themselves of their best players for finals, play-offs etc and possibly depriving themselves of those same players for the start of the following season. Remember ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

As far as Montoya goes, if we have a chance to sign someone who can displace the consistently excellent Augustin Creevy as automatic starter for the Pumas and Jaguares we should go for it. As has been said Tom Youngs, whilst still having much to offer, is moving towards the end of his career and may...

Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20

The Sarries side suggested by ABC club looks strong. But what happens when 2 Vunipolas, George, Farrell and Daly are away with England given that a number of 2nd choices that would have previously filled those gaps will have left or be on loan? What happens if a couple of those mentioned get injured...

Great appointment. This plus the recruitment of Rob Taylor plus other additions / changes to the coaching team give me hope that Tigers are finally moving in the right direction. Let's get behind them !!

Listening to Dallaglio "commentate" on that match, telling us who brilliant all his mates were and his co-commentator the whole time was pretty painful. I muted it after 15 minutes.
Surprised it took you that long Tiglon. I've usually muted him within 15 nanoseconds. :smt003
