Re: Leicester Team for Worcester Game

Great side. I hope Smith proves the detractors wrong but I fear not. I heard on the grapevine that he is taking an exam next week but they already know the result - he won't pass. :smt003

Re: Latest rumour and speculation.

According to a reliable* source, Horacio Agulla (Brive, fullback or winger) has signed for Leicester.
Interesting. Amorosino Mark 2.

Re: Shopping List

Great news about Manu if true. I'm salivating at the prospect of Tigers being able to choose a backline with a combination of Youngs, Flood, Manu/Allen 36/Danny Speedy/Bubbles/Alex and Geordan. Add in another winger or OC with genuine pace, a good step and ability to run angles and we would have an ...

Re: A Few Queries

English salary cap is £4.5 million and I am pretty sure this is the playing budget rather than just player salaries.

Re: Lewis Moody is going to Bath!!!!!!!

Good luck to Lewis. He will be missed!!

Like all our former favourites who moved on or retired e.g. Pat, Deano, Gibbo, Austin, Dave Lougheed, Backy and others too numerous to mention he'll always be a Tiger!

But as others have said let's move on and rally behind the best club in the world.

Just checked the date to make sure it's not April 1st.

The last club I expected him to join.

With Ryan Lamb likely to play for Irish no doubt we will see Tuilagi at some point given the effect he has had on him previously.

Re: Lote's last game for us on Saturday?

Is it too early to cast my vote for overseas player of the season?

Sheer class, thoroughly professional, will miss you in Tigers' colours.

Good luck down under.

Re: Cockerill wades into critics after Leicester Tigers defeat

From my reading of the article Cockers levels his crticism at those who are jealous of Tigers' consistent success. I think this hardly applies to us supporters.

Re: I blame Cockerill

Let's try and get some perspective. Yes Tigers were awful, didn't turn up etc. However previous game Saints didn't turn up and lost. It happens to all teams such is the nature of sport. Tigers have won the premiership more times than any other side in the professional era, have been to more GP final...

Re: Northampton v Leicester

I have a theory about games like yesterday. I believe that as we no longer need to finish top of the league games like yesterday which previously would have been seen as must win are now subconsciously viewed as "we'll do our best but it doesn't really matter if we lose because we have enough home g...

Re: Northampton v Leicester

g

I would hardly call Tuilagi a Cockers favourite given the adverse comments made when he returned to Tigers overweight this season. Also when we have had Hamilton, Geodan and Tuqiri available the best he has done is make the bench.

Re: Ben Kay/Riki Flutey

Flutey was Mr anonymous on Sat for England so on that showing wouldn't want Tigers to spend the sort of money he would want. You could probably get 2 or more prospects like 12T for that money. I'd like to see Tigers retain Ben's services for 1 more season given that we need experience when the likes...
