Re: Still stuck in the mud!

Key question for me next season is where can I get Tigers cask that I used to get in the Captain's bar. Anybody able to advise?

Re: Calum Clark at it again

We were told CC had reformed - was this the same reform school as Hartley has been attending for years?
Having said that harsh yellow card but nothing positive done to keep him in the squad.

Re: Sam Burgess

Bath were undone in the final because they had not been in one for a while. Most teams have to lose a Prem final before they can win one. Burgess IMO should not be in the squad as at Union he has not shown himself to be good enough particularly at Centre. As centre he has major weaknesses and no vis...

Re: Naughty Northampton

Sounds to me that it as bad as pushing a female police officer. If so will they get the same punishment as Manu?
Perhaps this is a Saints plan to have their full squad available from the start of the Premiership!

The love-in with him is keeping somebody else out of the squad. If he is there to motivate etc have him in as part of the coaching team. Here is a th...

Re: Still stuck in the mud!

I heard that in the 1920's / 1930's a concrete jacket was a guaranteed way of ensuring that a particular bad ref did not re-appear in charge of any future games.

Re: Keep Hold of Your Pies

Are you suggesting some may be Managing Directors or other exalted management rank?
Be interesting if they take a fancy to a nice yellow / red card being waved by a ref? What does he wave if a seagull has taken the card?

Keep Hold of Your Pies

According to the Sunday Times - seagulls have now setup shop in Leicester, which means they will no doubt be putting in appearance at WR encouraged by all the pies, chips, hot dogs etc being waved around. You have been warned to guard your pies!

Re: Still stuck in the mud!

The new stand construction is still driving foundations piles with no sign of the casting of floor slabs and a start to the erection of the steelwork. There's clearly a lot to do in the 9 weeks remaining before the first home game. It was my understanding that it was intended that the seating would...

Re: Women Rugby Super Series on TV anywhere?

Yes just finished watching it now. Final score 39-13. Good result but we will need better kickers against the other teams both tactically and off the peg.
