Re: Matt Toomua - anyone heard any news yet?

Thanks Whitecap. I missed that interview as I was making my way back to the car park. Fingers crossed then.

Matt Toomua - anyone heard any news yet?

The lad seemed to flinch in pain as he turned to avoid a tackle coming in and from my seat in the Caterpillar/MetRX stand I could clearly see he was in pain before the tackle arrived. He managed to walk off the pitch though, so hopefully a strain rather than serious ligament damage. If anyone has an...

Yes - it took them a while though!

Someone clearly doesn't check what they are writing before they submit. Something that would never happen on this Forum :smt043

Tigers Accounts - 2015/16

Any thoughts on the release of the club's accounts for 2015/16 earlier today? "Turnover of the club in this period was £19.0 million (£20.2 million in 2015) as the business recorded an operating loss of £424,000 (£479,000 profit in the previous year)." A £1.2m drop in turnover and a subsequent opera...

BBC Sport Website preview of our match v Glasgow

Some numpty at the BBC Sport department needs to have the website proof read before hitting submit. I quote "Ed Slater returns from an ankle injury to join the squad and Freddie Burns is also fit, while James Haskell, Jack Clifford and Sam Jones are out injured." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-uni...

Re: Breaking news: Tigers and Hansen part company.

Well, I didn't see that coming. I know we have given too many points away this season so far and our defensive has been shown wanting, but this is quick and decisive. Our attack and point scoring, which has been improving, counts for the square root of not a lot if we are giving so many points away....

Re: Kit Watch

We took the replica shirt bought for my son 2 weeks earlier back on Saturday and swapped it for a Classic. The replica appeared to have "graze" marks on it and a couple of pin holes. Also, the seams, when pulled very very slightly showed the stitching, overall not great quality and looks like it wou...

Re: Kit Watch

What's happened to the Classic shirts? They were showing on the Shop web pages as "pre-order" earlier this week, but this morning, no trace whatsoever? I was hoping to exchange the replica one I bought my son at the weekend for one as the quality of the replica is a bit pants. Worn once and showing ...

Re: SACK EVERYONE - HEADS MUST ROLL

If anyone should be sacked it should NOT be the coaches. They coach the team to play good rugby, complete passes, not infringe, ground the ball over the try line, kick penalties and conversions. But when the whistle blows, it's the players on the pitch who are in control of what they do. They are th...

Re: Mid table mediocrity

As I understand it, Bai is off at the end of the season. He planned to do 2 years here, fill a piggy bank and then head to Fiji to buy/run a farm.

Ah - the contract of marriage. Surely that only lasts 16 years; four better, four worse, four richer and four poorer. People who last beyond this have succeeded in working things out beyond the bounds of a contract.

Re: New Wasps Kit

Yes - I saw this earlier on Twitter. A simple but effective kit. Whilst our new kits look OK, I, like many on here, would have prefered a red, green and white hoop design, with solid colour hoops, as our home kit and mainly white with red and green contrasting collar, cuffs etc for the away/alternat...

So, with no Captain's Bar, the big question is... Where will John Griffiths set up table for the Away Supporters club business?

Any thoughts JohntheGriff?

Re: Fixture changes for this season's play-offs and Final

....however, I feel that teams that have had the break between semi and final will be more rested and potentially not carrying niggles into the final. Given that the last 2 seasons have started the same time, something has slipped somewhere to get rid of the week break/gap between semi and final.
