Re: Matt O'Connor

still early days but I hope (believe?) that, come the end of the season, we will be able to pen one of those Private Eye type apologies.

very much enjoying our rugby now and am postponing a foreign trip to make sure I'm here for the end of May.

Re: Croft retires

wasn't just awesome in his pomp? simply awesome. Those you tube links just brought it all back
and yes, I agree. A legend for Tigers, England and the Lions.

I'll miss him - but hope to still see him at the coffee bar!

good luck in whatever you do in the future, Tom

Georgia v Canada try

Anyone else seen it? Full back for Georgia scores amazing try. It's on the BBC sport web site. Picks up the ball, kick ahead, runs like hell and he just gets there - and then kicks the conversion. Awesome.

Re: Tigers v Castres

Fabulous match. Where did that team come from? Wonderful, flowing rugby - well, for most of the match. Shame we let them get a TBP , but, hey, we were superb. Just got home to a glass of wine and perhaps some Remy later!

Re: Regent College Parking

I'll do it for 10% of the take and a free parking space.
A real shame. It was so convenient.

Re: Regent College Parking

So can I park there tomorrow or not? I could park way over the other side of Vicky park but would prefer not to have to walk that far.

Re: Regent College Parking

is there any update on this? Will there be parking there for the Exeter game, does anyone know?

I'm not sure that I've followed this thread properly as I think there were some posts about permission from the council. sorry if I've not got it right.

Re: Champions Cup Fixtures

If Stansted to Bilbao falls through, try Stansted to Biarritz. It's not that far over the border and the route down takes you through some lovely Basque countryside. San Sebastián (Donostia) is lovely as well.

The drawback to both is that it's Ryanair.

Re: Living in the Past!

After about 60 years of support, I have grave doubts about our future. Never thought I'd say that . Agree with so much of what you say. Depressed doesn't do it justice.

Saffas v Saints

Can't work out if Sarries are brilliant or Saints are awful. Probably a bit of both. Any opinions from others?

Re: Manu sent home

Have only just caught up with this thread. Manu clearly has great talent. But he is mid-20s now. Frankly, not that much time left to fulfill that potential. And this sort of thing, whatever he actually did, doesn't help, does it? Mind you, I will be delighted if he fulfills that potential on the pit...
