Re: Gloucester v Leicester

T4L Some of the decision making was jaw-droppingly bad on Saturday. Not just big stuff like Waldrom's tap penalty, stuff like hospital passes; kicks to nothing, confused lineout calls....:censored: awful. * sigh * As i recollect, Waldrom took a quick tap penalty and was tackled by a player who fail...

Re: So Wilkinson or Flood, will they pick both?

England management have been heard muttering the great words of Hamlet
"Toby, or not, Toby? That is the question"

Now where did i put my coat.

Re: So Wilkinson or Flood, will they pick both?

IMO Flood at 10, Wilko at 12 but interchange when the game dictates I totally agree. Toby has a better attacking game but wilko has so much experience and it alows a second option. The distrbution and defence that way would be first rate. Wilko acting as Catt did for him. If you have Flood standing...

Re: Murphy out of Ireland squad

I just wish he was English as he would have been the starting 15 for over a decade now and still would be first choice.

Re: Penalty Try

hmm, if we're going down the route of 'he might not have caught the ball, so no penalty try', then all the scrummage penalty tries shouldn't be given because the number 8 might lose control (as Waldrom did at one point for us) or fumble the ball while scoring it. You've got to assume the attacking ...

Re: The Letters Underneath the Tigers Badge.

Those were great days. If I remember, quins had the reverse of our letters and I have a worn match shirt I got at a game from the bath bench. It's john callards number 16 shirt with a torn collar. Bath didn't have a 13 shirt in those days as they believed it was unlucky!

Re: Tigers v Australia

a 2nd or even 3rd choice backline, we could definitely win. N So 12T will be playing!!!! :smt005 :smt005 :smt005 Twill be his only start of the season! And he will score three times and kick the winning penalty in the last minute! hindsight is wonderful. Wrong! He will now probably be rested instead

Re: Injury news....

IMO Louis is seriously underrated by some.[/quote] Under rated by some but at the same time over rated by others. He is what he is, a powerhouse in the leicester pack but is far to often caught giving penalties away in stupid places at stupid times ie. GP final infront of the sticks allowing Jackson...

Re: I hate to say "I told you so" but......

Tom wears 14 for wasps yet was playing on the Left wing. Tuilagi wears 11 and plays on the left wing. says a little about an old welford road favourite! His defence (most peoples critisism) is still a concenr to wasps. I for one thought TV was a loss, but Hamilton was a bigger gain. TV often blunder...

Re: Coach and team bashing

"cockers must go" "murphy, waldrom must be dropped" "tuilagi is rubbish" are all comments cropping up in various forms. Cockers is doing the most difficult job with a tight buget and more fans to satisfy. We don't often win at wasps or saints but sofar we have score 11 tries. 3 bonus points. I'm hap...
