Re: Guscott in the rugby paper

Well on Guscotts expertise ... can we just mention that yesterday he confidently predicted an England win by 15 points .. meanwhile the wise old Johnno councilled caution and said that beware Scotland .. he had a gut feeling they were going to turn up! .. that's why he was a world cup winning captai...

Re: Denton

Denton was key to the last quarter of Scotland's performance against France. Now he is back fit he has had several good games for warriors and hopefully he will bring that form to WR next year and stay injury free. He is a good player when fit and better than any of our current 6/ 8s.

Re: Wasps breach salary cap

I agree that 40k is not all that in the grand scheme of things (Manu's big toe.. if it's not bust already! ) and I am happy to accept that it is in the realm of "error" in what I am sure is a devil of a juggling act. However I am concerned that if the breach where to be bigger they still deal with t...

Re: Tommy Reffell to captain Wales U20's v Scotland.

It is interesting to me that the club seems to be making a really big thing at the moment about the young guys coming through the academy system. I think it may have come to the powers that be, attention that this is where the strength of Tigers came from previously. We have been through some lean y...

Re: The Six Nations Thread

4th a 5th choice players could prove a liability BUT I don't see it being as big a problem as it would have been a few years ago ... Reid and Welsh are playing well with premiership clubs .. the bench may be more of an issue but the props are not quite as poor as you may think .. the geriatric Scott...

Re: Haskell leaving Wasps

Leadership is what we desperately in need of a difference the absence of anyone better I think he could be the guy to add it. Never been a massive fan of his, probably because he was Dallaglio s protégé but that's what might make him the leader we need.

Re: Tigers vs Racing

I was not to well yesterday therefore chose to stay at home rather than brave the weather on the terrace. However I had the joy of being g accompanied by dear old Bleddwyn and Steve on radio Leicester (and 5 live extra believe it or not!) AFTER the calamitous first 10 minutes it sounded like Tigers ...

Re: Like to have seen more of?

I have to agree with whoever said Josh Kronfeld. It was a real shame he was injured (getting of the bus) in his first match and missed the season. His second sason he was awesome ... and probably the best player I ever had the privilege to watch live. Considering I had many years watching the likes ...

Re: Will Evans

No ... apparently you just have to be big, useless and ineffectual to get the nod in the moden way of playing at Tigers . But most of all big. After all its working well ... isn't it? We are apparently "learning" every week.

Re: Six Nations...

Looks like jon Welsh will be starting TH who has played well with a good Falcons team and Reid at LH who played well against us a couple of weeks ago. With McCullum as back up on either side. Berghaan I think will only be banned for one week. Mcinally is the top hooker now so hopefully he stays fit....

It will be good business for the cherry and whites IF he doesn't get injured. If he does then Bath can say I told you so!

Bananaman leaves Bath for Glaws

I know many on here have been quite rude about him in the past but this fellow has been a good servant to Bath and has been a dangerous player to play against for many teams including us on many occasions. In some ways I find it rather sad that a man who has spent his career at a club cannot stay th...
