Talking of gambling... just checked the odds .. We're at 14s ... Might be worth a couple of quid for a laugh.

Re: The Clash

Not quite sure how he had a duty of care to a man who had only just jumped up and kneed him in the face about half a second earlier. Until he got kicked in the face Thompson had no idea he was there. The law is nonsense, it should be the jumping player binned not the other one.

Re: Ellis Genge

Even before he won 5 scrum penalties for us and after prowling the touch line like a caged tiger winding up wasps on the field, his first action on the field was an awesome maul where some real old style ripping by him lead to a turnover in our half over by the Cat stand. You just knew he was so up ...

Re: Did I just see Pat Howard

"Paddy's got it taped" Yep poor old Pat has had to fly in to investigate those muppets and their delinquent behaviour. I think he he is going to have to fire Smith... how can he skipper the team now with the Aussie papers and even their PM wading in. If tapegate is followed by sugargate and calls th...

Re: Plastic Pitches v Grass Pitches

In athletics if one track is faster than another (which as I understand they are) we don't don't say it is unfair o visiting Atheletes. All 30 players play on that pitch for that game and that's all that counts in terms of fairness. I juries is another issue and I think a lot more research (independ...

Re: Ryan Wilson gets off?

Whether or not other people have been wrongly sentenced he should not have been. If you look back at the footage from the start Hughes deliberately lies on him preventing him getting up from the previous breakdown then he pushes a hand it his chest. Wilson retaliates in an odd way by wrapping his le...

Re: The Six Nations Thread

If Eddie is insistent on squeezing all his locks into the team surely Otoje should be 6 not Lawes. A possible back row could be 6. Otoje 7. Underhill. 8. Robshaw Simmons must have a place once he returns and one assumes so does Billy V. I'm not sure Hughes has a long term future but to be fair to hi...

Re: New Forwards Coach - Mark Bakewell

Just a quick thought. Did Bakewell coach Genge whilst at Bristol. If he did, as I assume he did, then I do hope there was no animosity between them and hope Bakewell's appointment does not unsettle Gengey in anyway. He seems settled and happy in our environment up till now. Having said that no playe...

Re: Sarries vs Tigers

Second that. From " yon bonnie banks and yon bonnie braes" to "ey up me dook, stick it up em toigers" in 24 hours my idea of heaven .. Pint of Tiger with a Auchentushen chaser would end the weekend beautifully. On Bateman .. who I have rated since his arrival and as someone Said just gets better and...

All of Owens major decisions were spot on .. Lawes knock on, Lanchbury handling whilst knees on floor in particular.

Re: Captain Hartley

Sorry to rain on his parade but when England under the pump (like against Italy last year) they look leaderless.

Poor old Dylan has neither the brains nor the personality to captain under pressure. Of course George is also a better player.

Eddie needs a rethink prior to world cup I think

Re: The Six Nations Thread

Watson and Barclay had a field day against a ponderous English back row. Berghan has been a revelation (dare I mention under the tutelage of one Richard Cockerill). Great to see Finn Russell back to brilliant best, sadly missing in first 2 games. Reminds me of his coach ..mercurial but prone to the ...
