To me the greatest of all Tigers - not only as a player but as a man - only Johnson comes close. he opitomises everything great about rugby in general and Leicester Tigers in particular - Do your talking on the field not off it - you've won nothing until you've won the lot - however good you are, yo...

I have to agree that the demise of the frosties ad one's is a blessing The new one however looks a bit gormless I also agree that they need to be a bit more animated I understand that that animation of this type of costume is, belive it or not, a trained subject at drama school and when done well, i...

pulled a hamstring in training on friday I read No great loss though - Scotty played a blinder - the one error I thought he had made - TV replay showed Lund stuck a boot in just as he was about to pass out from the 5 metre scrum just prior to half time and therefore not his error. in hindsight maybe...

excellent point

Gibbo at 12 (a no brainer) with Seru as his back up

and at 13 this would be my order - Seru (again) , Ollie ( hopefully rejuvinated), Cornwall, Hipkiss

Leon is a winger and could get a start ahead of Varndell if the latter cannot improve his defensive work

Rabeni is back

I think there one or two queries recently - that Seru may not be up to it any more I think he answered that in spades yesterday The whole team performance was very pleasing yesterday except for a couple of individuals that could do with improvement (I will not dwell on that here) - The forward effor...

I predict third behind Wasps and Sale in that order with Northampton, Gloucester and Harlequins fighting it out for 4th spot

Unless of course we sign Dan Carter after Christmas and then I confidently predict 1st ............... well we can dream can't we?

I actually thought there was some encouraging signs yesterday Tom Croft - massive plus - we knew he was an extremely promising young 2nd row forward whose pace might make him a quality senior back row forward - yesterday showed how much he has matured in a year and i look forward to seeing him in XV...

Indeed "the mouse" Mclauclan was my all time boyhood hero and indeed the reason for my nom de plume and if i was picking favourites then he would be in (I was tempted) - it is difficult to compare through the ages but Mightymouse was only about 14 1/2 stone which makes you wonder if he was able to c...

Dailywaffle let's face it they are all amazing players and I would be happy to have any of them in my team in your team for example - Mike Gibson was a truely gifted footballer and was a very close call for me - but Dannie Herber was one of the most destructive runners I have ever seen - unfortunatl...

I think Gareth Edwards useually comes out top of most polls and I probably have to agree on balance - but it is virtually impossible to say and you would have to put Meads and Johnson right up there

easier on cricket - Bradman
