Scott is definately playing better than Ellis

Ellis never seems to have been the same since he went to play for England

This season it could be down to injury - if he is not fully fit he should not be starting a game

Andy Goode has surely been dropped because of his continual poor form His kicking is inconsistant, his passing is slow, laboured and generally behind the targeted player - he rarely makes a break and when he does he has no pace to make anything of it and lacks the vision to offload in the tackle. un...

They are Welcome to Mc mullen and Ricky Nebbit also for that matter - He of course was an ex Quin before he was an ex Tiger or Ex Leinster and in between Quins and Tigers he was ex Wormwood Scrubs (Not sure if they had much of a XV - a sort of "mean Machine") Pez seemed ok before he came to us and n...

I have to agree about these forwards - That is a very big and aggresive unit - I don't know if Quins have the firepower to compete .... however We never play very well at the sStoop and now there is the Deano factor to consider. Re the backs - I pleased to see Goode out - I cannot believe that Burke...

Get rid of the music full stop - let the crowd create the atmosphere - and whilst we are at get of the stupid game at half time it's a real conversation killer and completely patronising like most attempts to "liven" things up - Put someone with some personality and a sense of humour on the mike .. ...

re home debuts Jordan Crane looked solid and useful Ayerza had a great game - destroyed Califano (although to be fair to Califano he is a better loosehead than tighthead) - and was very handy in the loose with a very high tackle count. - Our forward signings seem very good this year with a big thumb...

there is another thread to this but i may as well join in here also The RFU have only got themselves to blame for all this "overseas" players who aren't "overseas" players business ie the granny's french pasport brigade and the South Sea islanders are excempt milarky If it wasn't for the riduclous s...

We've had threads on this many times - so I won't bore you all again with my tale of being told not to make so much noise with my drum at the Millenium stadium by a tigers fan in front of me whilst 30,000 screaming singing drumming Munstermen faced us on the other side of the stadium - how ever we w...

As I understood the quote from PH - the reason only one can play is because there is a premiership agreement that only one overseas player is allowed to play - under the employment laws - EU, South Africa and south sea islanders count as local. Gibbo is a New Zealander and the other fella Argentinia...

To me the greatest of all Tigers - not only as a player but as a man - only Johnson comes close. he opitomises everything great about rugby in general and Leicester Tigers in particular - Do your talking on the field not off it - you've won nothing until you've won the lot - however good you are, yo...

I have to agree that the demise of the frosties ad one's is a blessing The new one however looks a bit gormless I also agree that they need to be a bit more animated I understand that that animation of this type of costume is, belive it or not, a trained subject at drama school and when done well, i...

pulled a hamstring in training on friday I read No great loss though - Scotty played a blinder - the one error I thought he had made - TV replay showed Lund stuck a boot in just as he was about to pass out from the 5 metre scrum just prior to half time and therefore not his error. in hindsight maybe...

excellent point

Gibbo at 12 (a no brainer) with Seru as his back up

and at 13 this would be my order - Seru (again) , Ollie ( hopefully rejuvinated), Cornwall, Hipkiss

Leon is a winger and could get a start ahead of Varndell if the latter cannot improve his defensive work

Rabeni is back

I think there one or two queries recently - that Seru may not be up to it any more I think he answered that in spades yesterday The whole team performance was very pleasing yesterday except for a couple of individuals that could do with improvement (I will not dwell on that here) - The forward effor...
