Good one

We just need him to stay fit and play as well for us as he has England.

Hopefully it will encourage others to stay ie Genge

Re: New Coach?

I agree it is impossible to get a team to perform consistently when vast parts of the squad is unavailable. I am not sure if Murphy is the right man in long term for the job. However one thing that is certain, the failure of this club in recent years is due to the failure to do that which was always...

Re: Sione banned for 5 weeks in reality

I think it was a red under current laws but in the highlights programme there was another example(can’t remember which game) which was much worse as it was a shoulder in a ruck into the back of a guys neck. Zero action on that one which makes the Lwas a bit of a joke

Re: Sarries being investigated

I think we probably do keep to the cap by and large and also I do not think we have the money in comparison to these clubs with wealthy owners. This fiddling of the cap and the unwillingness or inability of the governing body to do anything about it is very reminiscent of the final dying throws of s...

Re: Kerr gets Scotland call

Great news for Jake, well deserved. He has rapidly become our most reliable hooker. He can only get better. I don’t think Scotland will need him in the near future once their current injury crisis is over. That should give him a little time to continue to develop nicely with us. Hopefully we are sen...

Re: Tigers v Racing

I haven't read all the thread and what I have read I agree with in terms of the teams poor attacking threat especially from 10. a couple of points though. I think the man we really miss is Denton. He was bought as the big ball carrier. with him and Genge in tandem that would allow the likes of Spenc...

Re: Anyone taking Betts

maybe the"senior " players have got another brother to sign ... or father .. or mother .. sister whatever .. surely that's more important than someone the club might deem necessary

Re: Premiership Rugby Cup - Tigers vs Worcester

I thought Heyes had an ok game. He is as already pointed out youg for A prop and will develop strength and technique over the next few years. I don’t think he is too big for a tight head but he is a big lump and could become very good if he keeps improving. Tuilagi does not have the power of his unc...

Re: Tigers v Scarlets

as I mentioned in another post.. all of Kalli's carries in our 22 off the back of the scrum came from illegally collapsed scrums by Scarlets and a ref who waved it on. if they had been made to stay on their feet, the scrum would have gone back their back row would have had to stay bound and their ba...

Re: Rolling and crawling

the complete nonsense is that as soon as the tackler starts to hold on to ensure they are tackled and stop them rolling and rcrawling about is the referee pings them for holding on. This is the consequence of ever allowing the tackled player to handle on the ground. The day they go back to the law m...

Re: Tigers v Scarlets

not enforcing the collapsed scrum rule :that would be an interesting ruling. because not only would it mean that it legalise cheating that imasculates the scrum which is annoying enough, but it also legalise the most potentially dangerous act on a rugby field. You would in practice be legalising the...

Re: Tigers v Scarlets

there were many great performances from Cole and Thompson to Holmes and Manu and even Tomooa for the few minutes he was on but for me the man of the match was Harry Wells. He was outstanding with his tackle count his carries his lineout work and his tireless work over the ball helping out Thompson. ...
