Re: European Challenge Cup - Cardiff vs Tigers

Blimey, Happy Clappers, have a bit of common sense !!!!!! We have a squad, that if it was coached by virtually any of the other Premiership DOR's, would certainly not be bottom, for two years now. A ''win'' against Cardiff does not constitute a season saving probability, just a mere two wins togeth...

Re: European Challenge Cup - Cardiff vs Tigers

Good win but the quality was poor. Two bottom feeders in their respective divisions, luckily one can't go down though! What a lovely expression to label your club and team. To be utterly pedantic we don’t appear to be bottom of either of our leagues. One more due to another team cheating but calling...

.. Still extolling the virtues of Cockers then!! Obviously your not convinced this debacle started under him!!! I wasn’t suggesting bringing him back, my point was merely a hypothetical opinion, exemplifying how under resourced Cockers was. Stunning to see the win ratios of Cockers and Deano on a h...

Re: Saracens Issue Grounds For Appeal...

Wray's actual defence of 'Investments aren't income' isn't any less ludicrous than any of the ones listed here! From what I've read, he said "investments aren't salary ", therefore outside the salary cap. Splitting hairs and trying to get round the salary cap on a technicality. The cap is there to ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2

Genge will be off if Briz have room in their cap for him, he's West Country to the core and they're a breed unto themselves over there. Can't say he didn't try his best for us but what's the point being away from home for a team that plays as badly as we do. He may go, but I doubt that it would be ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2

Like a morning after a strong curry and a few too many beers you seem to pass on a lot that is lacking in any substance. Proof! Do you have any? The majority of what we all post here is speculation and word of mouth. If YBY had posted a picture of his contract, wage included then it wouldn't be a d...

All of the Japanese show plenty of speed and great handling and offloading, lets sign them all. :smt045
In The Times today, their rugby writers named their team of the pool stages (i.e. best player in each position sort of thing). One of them picked 15 Japanese players :smt003

Re: Is Lavanini going to be a liability?

Guilty before he even played for us, typical of some posters on here. Give the guy a chance, he will be a massive improvement on last seasons efforts. Likewise way too much leniency because he's a Tiger which wouldn't be there otherwise, works both ways Not really. We don't tend to discuss players u...

Re: Is Lavanini going to be a liability?

I said in a post when we signed him that he would be a liability, but was shouted down for saying it. People said he had learned his lessons and much better now. Well this goes to show that he hasn't changed. Yes he may provide the grunt and toughness that our pack has been lacking, but if we are g...

Re: England v Argentina

or is it the FACT that no one ever DARE criticize a Tigers player?! Where on earth did you get that impression? Mine (and others) comments about your posts are about the frequency with which you single Ben Youngs out for a negative comment. Taken individually, most are fine. It's just the sheer num...
