Final to be played at Ashton Gate!
Did not know that, how is that fair! Dozens of empty sports stadiums around the country at the mo and we might have to go and play the final as an away fixture!
Where did you hear that? EPC website still says tbc: https://www.epcrugby.com/finals/

Re: Toulon v Tigers - Challenge Cup Semi

The fact Kelly is in at 23 suggests he has a knock. Tigers don’t usually announce injuries when match day squads are named. Glad Kelly is picked though for that 23 shirt. I've not seen him play but as a 19 year old Irish U20's international he hopefully is ready for the step up, which in this case ...

Re: Kobus Van Wyk

Latest club update in Kobus was here: https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/leicester-tigers-news-tom-youngs-4494118.amp However a couple of days ago someone on here suggested his Instagram was saying he was on his way (I don't have Instagram so can't check, if anyone can quote ...

Re: Zack Henry

also him being second choice 10 only will be particularly unappealing as we almost never substitute Ford off the field, that's why people keep mentioning playing 15 etc. Hopefully having a competitive reserve 10 can lead to Tigers being able to sub Ford off the field and rotate him when needed. Hop...

Re: Team vs Saints

Have a bad feeling about Sunday. Saints past form meanings nothing going into the derby. I do like the look of our XV, plus we have some power to come off the bench. There is also the fact this is the first time post restart saints are playing a ‘1st XV’ before they were the only side mixing it up....

Re: Wayne is in charge

Good to hear Wayne Barnes is in charge obviously not infallible but is a class above the others. Other good thing about Barnes is that not afraid to overrule overzealous TMOs.

Re: Best Tigers lineup (Since the Restart)

Not going to be hugely different to that, looks good to me.. I'd go: 15. Steward 14. Nadolo 13. Porter 12. Scott 11. Potter 10. Ford 9. Youngs 1. Genge 2. Youngs 3. Cole 4. Lavanini 5. Wells 6. Liebenberg 7. Reffell 8. Taufua 16. Kerr 17. Gigena 18. Leatigaga 19. Green 20. Wallace 21. Martin 22. Wh...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

I've never been convinced by Olowafella, hope he proves me wrong but sadly I doubt it. The worst thing about it is I think what's holding him back is him. He's got the pace, the quick feet and enough skill to make a success of it but he doesn't back himself. He hugs the wing instead of looking for w...

Re: Round 17 other games

This isn't just to you but yours is the latest to make the same strawman of an argument. I, and I presume the others who disagree with the selection philosophy of having a 1st and a 2nd team alternating, are absolutely 100% happy with the academy lads getting a run out. The objection is that predom...

Dallaglio? Monye? Healey? Kay? Goode?
I thought "Pundit" meant "Wise man"?

Just saying! 😂😂
IMHO David Flatman is the best pundit by a mile. Probably not a popular opinion but I also think Kay is ok.

Re: London Irish

I would say the only disappointment was again Taute who looks far too slow to play in the Premiership. With the rub of the green it could have been a bonus point win. I agree that Taute’s pace gets exposed in the 13 channel (would like to see Porter get a game there outside Scott) but don’t think h...

Re: Teams up v Bath

In terms of assessment of the game everything already pretty much been said and my views align well with Travellers post. One thing I’m surprised no one has mentioned when hammering the selection is that when Borthwick decided on this team he wouldn’t have known what side Bath were going to pick. Wa...

Re: Other games this weekend Round 14

Bristol weren’t on all cylinders but certainly gave Gloucester a reality check with a 22-33 victory at Kingsholm. Semi Radrada turned up, Hughes was excellent as was Chris Vui in the air, some sublime takes in the lineout. Bristol looked good in attack but for me they seem to have a bit of a soft u...

Re: Teams up v Bath

Wasn’t the team I was expecting but interested to see how some of the new recruits fare. In particular Porter and Potter and like others I have high hopes for Henry. Bath obviously favourites and its the back row match-up that looks most unbalanced with Faletau and Underhill being two top class inte...

Re: Finishing this season

Unless special exemption was granted but knowing our government that won’t happen. To be honest, if the Government gave a rugby team exemption just so they could play a game of rugby, it would say more than them not giving exemption and not in a good way On BT Sport on Friday the head of the prem (...
