Re: Club Statement - COVID-19
I'll get excited when they are proven in independently-run double blind randomised design test programmes that are public and peer reviewed, not before. :smt018 I won’t be taking it before the safety and efficacy data has been properly reviewed and approved, I will however most definitely be gettin...

Re: Club Statement - COVID-19
Funny how noone is criticising the club/players unlike when Sale got an outbreak... One club shut down training completely and has separated all players until proven safe to regather after going through additional testing. The other was to claim they were ready to play a match 2 days after the posi...

Re: Amazon Prime
I may be wrong but don’t think Amazon prime comes in any of the other packages. New joiners to Prime get a 30 day free trial so given Autumn international happen over four weeks can watch that without paying a penny if just cancel subscription when they end. If Amazon start getting more rugby game i...

Daly is weak in defence and wouldn’t be my choice but I can understand selection.
I just don’t get Furbank as Anthony Watson (bring on Thorley), Max Malins, Mike Brown and even our own Freddie Steward are much better options.

Re: Legal case with ex-players
Ignoring everything else if contesting the case means that Tigers wouldn’t have to pay out for a decent amount of time, other posters suggesting could take years to get to court, then may not be that bad an option even if end up paying more. Given at the moment all about keeping cash reserves up so...

Re: Relegation 20/21
It could be that over the winter the premiership standings will be decided by who can best prevent their players getting covid. Forget attacking play and a solid line out, we just need to make sure we covid-forfeit fewer games than everyone else! I feel the coming season will be as disrupted and un...

Re: George Ford
As someone whose had to manage an Achilles injury for the last 5 years I find this pretty worrying.
Tigers report suggested he’s been carrying this for the back end of the season so may partly explain the out of sorts performance against Toulon.

Re: Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year
Hmm if I had done this in September 2020 reckon I would have gone for Noel Reid (I had high hopes in a World Cup year he would turn into what we’re starting to see from Henry) and Tommy Reffell.
In hindsight like others would go for Harry wells and Reffell.

Re: Other Round 22 Fixtures
How do we know that Sale players have breached the rules? Saints could not field a front row so had to cancel. Tests may be false positives and still expect the game to be cancelled if the number of Sale positives remain. Yeah, but the main point.... Sale can't field a side on Sunday... so why are ...

Re: Tigers vs Quins - 04 Oct 20 15:00
Worcester released a statement late last night saying that nothing has been confirmed... this has Steve Diamond written all over it.
Wouldn’t be surprised if some Worcester players refused to play if Prem rugby try to force it through.
Seems crazy to even consider playing it.

6 months for a torn Achilles is optimistic if anything unfortunately. Was looking forward to seeing more of him and Slade together in the centres for England.

Re: What a mess
What a lot of commentators and Sarries players comments fail to address is that, in their recent successful years, EVERYTHING they have done is tainted by their cheating. Stephen Jones said that they would have been just as good no matter how much they were paid, but he didn’t say that the only way...

Re: Toulon v Tigers - Challenge Cup Semi
Can’t believe people are still clinging to the officiating excuses! Time to wake up and smell the coffee for Gods sake! We weren’t good enough but by most observers the Toulon 2nd try and the pen v Genge on the 5m line and the Genge try were shocking decisions Agree, on balance Toulon deserved to w...
