Re: Forward passes

I was talking about kicking, not passing, in reference to virtual lines. Yes.... I believe we were talking about Mr Dombrandt being "obviously" in front of the kicker......lines might work. Draw a line perpendicular to the touchline that passes through the players position on the field. If, on rele...

Re: Forward passes

Just watched some of the C5 highlights of the Quins:Bath game. Just left me wondering how far forward does as pass have to be before the TMO decides it is clear an obvious. One looked about 45 degrees and was taken about 2 yards ahead.....Yes the TMO said not clear and obvious. Bring on ball sensor...

Brink out for the season?
Regardless of Kyle's availability I'd much rather see us with a proper 7.

Re: Worcester (A) - 29th May 2021

If we had a thumbs up/agree button, I would have clicked it! Surely it’s this: :smt023 Sorry, what I meant was being able to endorse a post without having to actually add a reply when I didn’t have any thing worth adding. If 30 people agreed with Ian’s post - in this case - seeing a little thumbs u...

Cole had a good game too. Some turnovers and some sensible play, nuisance counter rucking and strong scrummage. Without him I think we could have lost too.
Would it be fair to say he's better off the bench these days? Good canny contributions late in the day are very valuable.

Re: Worcester (A) - 29th May 2021

I like the pack. I like we can pick a good pack and an effective bench and we have a few combinations. Henderson gets to go again, which is good and the back row looks balanced. A real 7, a six and a proper 8 is always good news. (IMHO) The backs. Are we still experimenting? I still don't think we k...

Re: Montpellier’s Form - Challenge Cup Final chat

For me pundits and some commentators in general are more of an irritation than an enhancement - fortunately there is the volume control ..... Dad and I chatted about this...... I still like to hear the crowd and maybe ref mic...... Just not the commentators. Mr Benaud had the right idea. "Look at t...

Re: Montpellier’s Form - Challenge Cup Final chat

Sara has been covering Rugby for some considerable time, I would hazard that's how she met her husband. Some posters on this forum seem to have a real issue with Gender & their views tend to be tolerated, unfortunately like society in general. It might help if the Club made a serious entry into Wom...

Re: Montpellier’s Form - Challenge Cup Final chat

Assuming you're referring to the daughter of former Wales and Lions player Elgan Rees, and also the wife of Ireland and Lions player Simon Easterby, then she certainly has more rugby knowledge than most on this forum so i'd suggest you be less patronising. My wife's married to a rocket scientist......
