Re: Tigers v Saints
If this was soccer ball, you'd be half expecting the club to bring in someone like Sam Allerdyce or Harry Redknapp to shore things up and try to avoid "the drop". I can see where things could be going next at Welford Road, just to finish off the job....

Re: Tigers v Saints
Congratulations all at Leicester Tigers. Over the past five years, a huge amount of work has been done, in so many ways, to transform the club into a rock solid league bottom three certainty with no possibility of making progress to the knockout stages of cup competitions. Those in charge should be ...

Re: Dear Murphs
Pity we didn't hang on to that bloke who took Toulon from 6th to Top14 final, struggling Scots side to Pro14 KO and now tops Pool 5 in Europe. :smt003 I don't remember him losing EIGHT games on the bounce either, come to think about it i don't remember any previous coach losing eight on the bounce....

Re: Telegraph article - Cole
At the risk of repeating an old theme, there are a couple of paragraphs in this article on Dan Cole's propensity to give away penalties: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2018/12/03/weekend-demonstrate-difficult-dilemma-reintroduce-returning/ Fair point or kicking him when he's down? For a fe...

Re: Gloom Doom & Positive Thinking
Am afraid Worth is far too slow for this standard The rest of the backs on display, apart from Eastmond are so far down the Premiership line, its embarrassing. What on earth has happened to the Tigers legacy ???? Horrible days for long standing supporters. The fourth choice 15 who is a utility back...

Re: How to Keep Manu at Tigers
I can forsee him just fading away, whether it's with Tigers or someplace else. He should be able to make a decent living from playing, for a few more years, but can't expect the same income level from it. As someone else has rightly said, he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer and this, as he get...

Re: How long are we supposed to put up with our diabolical lineout?
I can't remember the last time we had a solid, functioning lineout unit. No matter the hooker, no matter the jumping unit. What has the club done to rectify this? I'm on the outside, but I can't point to anything. Boris has done wonders with our scrum. Surely we can find a specialist to tidy up our...

Re: How to Keep Manu at Tigers
Completely agree weather we keep Manu or not will depend on if he makes the World Cup squad, which I think will be between him and teo for the ball carrying centre. If he doesn’t make it I think he’ll go to France, which I believe would be a good move for him a change of lifestyle and playing style...

Swanky wingers
So having just heard Mr Healey use the word "swanky" as a general descriptor for some wingers (he was holding up Josh Bassett as an example of non-swanky). I wondered what that fine purveyor of verbal bilge means by "swanky"; and more to the point, who are the wingers, past and p...

I'm not a fan of shooting the messenger, usually, but I will make an exception, in the case of the OP. Ah, so it's my fault is it :smt002 :smt003 :smt007 Haven't seen the game but read this thread and the match feed. Sounds like a horror show on the tackling front in the main. I agree that Worceste...

Re: Cohen, Glynn, to be sacked?
Peter Tom now needs to complete the job by removing those responsible for the recruitment travesties and the lies put out to the supporters. If those individuals had any virtue, they would do it themselves but I doubt if they will.
