Re: Steeeeeeeve and Salvi sign up

Delighted to hear this news. I must admit I had worries about Steve moving to France but I think that this proves just how strong Tigers are in the player development stakes. Just hope that Parling and Ford recognise this or, more importantly, their agents!

Re: RWC 2015 venues.. no welford road??

While I agree that, on the face of it, a 24,000 capacity true rugby venue is not considered is very poor. There is not much we can do if, as it stated earlier in this thread that the pitch is too small for international rugby then there is not much we can do now. The question has to be asked why was...

Re: George Ford has hand skills Floody can only dream of?

I have to agree with many of the balanced comments in the latter part of this thread - I can't believe those at the start are really Tigers fans! This whole hysteria around Flood vs Ford is great for the media - it gives them plenty to talk about. Remember, they did the same re Castro vs Cole and al...

When was the last time?

When did we go 2 games on the trot without scoring a try? The worst thing about this current sequence is that we don't look liking breaking defences. Where have the offlaods gone that we started using in the 2nd half of last season and Quins are experts at?

Re: Nice one Treviso

Ian Jones shouldn't be playing rugby anyway. He was the one who stamped on Harry Ellis' knee in the HC and, of course this ultimately led to his retirement at such a young age.

Re: Opening day team

I am afraid I don't agree with the back row/2nd row composition.
Back row:
Mafi
Salvi
Waldrom

2nd row
Parling
Andrew

In other words the starting line up from the Notts game.
I was impressed with Balmain at prop when he came on so I would have him with Cole on the bench.

I like it - very radical but I will not be spending £80 on it! As long as we where our Tigers shirts with pride who cares which era the shirt is from? Sorry, Tigers Commercial Director cares!
